Grilled Pork Loin Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2014
This marinade was so delicious. At first I felt a little daunted because there are a lot more ingredients than i normally put into something (4 at most usually). The prep was easier than i had expected. my chops only marinated for about 3 hours due to time issues but i could tell it was going to be great! i didnt have a grill so i opted to use a medium heat frying pan trying to only flip once. toward the end i put the rest of the marinade in and within minutes it turned into an amazing glaze. i'm sure i'll do this again and maybe try another type of meat like chicken. oh, i found that agave nectar could sub my *blush* solidified honey, it didnt say which brown sugar to use so i did my dark brown one that i already had,and added more minced garlic because i love it. thanks so much for sharing. this is one of my favorites. 8)

Easter Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2014
These came out so pretty on a little Easter chick plate. I subbed mayo for the salad dressing just for personal taste. It was much easier to make than i had expected. Thank you very much for sharing. I'm sure i'll have these next year too. Lol and follow Nancy's advice......put some white ones in there too, the coloring is great but may not be for all of your guests. 8)

These taste amazing! I just made them for a party, can't wait to see what everyone says. Mine came out a bit flat but then again so did the ones I made from scratch when I was a kid. 8)

Mediterranean Crescent Pinwheels

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2012
these are wonderful! i didn't have this screen up when i was in the kitchen so i forgot about the floured surface (that would have made a BIG difference i think) and rolled them from the longside instead of the short. but let me tell you, just like beauty its whats on the inside that counts! YUM i didn't have the feta so i used thin sliced provolone to go with the thin prosciutto and thin hard salami i put in there. and i sprinkled them with dried basil (that's all i had on hand) before i rolled them up. love this recipe. ty for sharing it.

Creamy Clam Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2011
very easy to make. didn't have any onion juice so i used powder and i love garlic so i added extra garlic powder. i thought it came out a little more "cheesy" than i expected so when i make it again i might try half cream cheese and half sour cream. very good overall. thanks

Alysia's Basic Meat Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2011
Thank you for your delicious recipe. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've made it. Each time it seems to come out even better than the last. The whole thing only cost me about 20.00 and for 4 people and leftovers that's not bad at all. I used a smaller pan this time so I only came up with 2 layers instead of 3, but it was plenty. Now I have extra sauce, cheese and ricotta mix to make another tomorrow (probably to just freeze) As my husband told me tonight it's "good stuff" ---- HUGE compliment. Thanks again.

Fish in Foil

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2010
I made this tonight and had much success. I needed to cut down on the heat so I used sliced fresh mushrooms instead of the hot peppers. I used tilapia (I'm pretty sure any fish is good with this) and didn't have lemons or garlic salt so I used lemon pepper, ground black pepper (for mine) salt and garlic powder. very tasty and easy, I just need to practice making pouches 8(. I will make this again, maybe with fresh garlic and some dill. Thanks for posting. My baked fish always ended up "grayish" on the bottom, but not this one. I'm impressed !!!

great new recipe for me! thanks for sharing. made this tonight and didnt want the sliced apples so i diced them and hubby doesnt like onions so i diced up 1/2 a red bell pepper. i also didnt have brown sugar so i used plain white sugar instead. very tasty and sweet. lol probably not good for my diabetes, but all in moderation right? 8)

Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2010
very good soup. i did mine with broccoli and peas and extra garlic. i also used chicken broth instead of water and still added the boullion cube. just dont make the mistake i made.....cook your chicken first like you are supposed to. lol i ended up with the little white floating stuff that i had to disguise with rice. my husband thought it was very good. thanks

Tarragon Mushroom Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2010
another very good recipe i have found on this site. i made a quick version of this. instead of the crock pot i used the stove and simmered the ingredients on medium low heat for 35 minutes (covered) stirring every so often. i whisked in only half of the flour (maybe because it wasn't done in the slow cooker) and served it over hot rice topped with just a dash of oregano. will definitely make again. maybe on egg noodles.

Pesto Mushroom Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2010
very tasty! i used the prepared pesto like another rater did and *gasp* forgot the mushrooms. those are usually staples in my house. i also used shredded cheese that i had on hand instead of sliced. this is a "make again" for sure.

Shrimp Alfredo Pasta

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2010
my VEGGIE VERSION....I made this during lent so didn't want to use the shrimp so I did some modifying. I used fresh broccoli and canned mushrooms and topped with sliced black olives to add some color. I used small shells for the pasta. It came out soooooo good and very quick and easy. thanks for the recipe, its a keeper!

Three Olive Spread

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2010
I made this for a work holiday party. Everyone who tried it raved about it. We had it on slices of Italian bread. After the next day (which tasted even better) there were no leftovers to be found. I'll no doubt make this one again for parties. The appearance wasn't very good but the taste was awesome! I just didn't add the garlic because someone is allergic to it. Any ideas how to make it look better?
