Tomato Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2010
This was very good. I made the mistake of having the skillet up to high so the breading browned a little too much but I will fix that next time, I will also butterfly the breast b/c I think they were too thick but the breading was really tasty, I did add Garlic powder & red pepper flakes and it was very good!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2010
This was EXCELLENT! By mistake my husband brought home boneless short ribs but WOW, when I took out of the crockpot to shred they tasted incredible, almost didn't want to add bbq sauce but I added Rudy's bbq sauce for my husband and Sweet baby Rays for me and left in the oven for about 25' and the sandwiches were fabulous! Oh I rubbed salt and pepper on the ribs before putting into the crockpot. Thanks for the recipe!!

Aunt Fannie's Dinner

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2009
I know people hate it when you alter a recipe and then give the review but I actually like to read the variations. I altered this by adding cumin, just a dash of chili powder and diced tomatoes with green chili's instead of diced tomatoes, I then topped with cheddar cheese and baked for 25' and served with salsa. It is pretty good.

Pizza Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2009
This was good but I went with the reviewers suggestions and used Italian sausage and I didn't care for that at all. My husband loved it. Next time I will do the beef. I did brown the pepperoni with the sausage and the pepperoni was great, I just didn't care for the taste of the italian sausage. It is a fast meal with ingredients that I usually have on hand so a definite keeper!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2009
This was an excellent recipe. I used chicken broth like most of the others and I used the seasonings that were recommended in one of the reviews. I only used 1 can of black beans. I used frozen chicken breast and cooked on low 10 hours while I was at work and when I came home the chicken was falling apart and it was delicious. We topped with shredded cheese and fresh tomatoes (fresh avocado would be great too) and ate it with tortilla chips. Great Recipe!

Enchilada Casserole II

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2008
I thought this was a good recipe. I added diced chilies to the ground beef and I used 1 can of mexican style tomato sauce with a little bit of regular tomato sauce added, I used the cumin & chili powder as directed, the only thing is next time I will double the sauce so it will be more "saucier", otherwise I thought it was a great recipe.

Charley's Slow Cooker Mexican Style Meat

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2005
Great Recipe! I made this last night and pretty much followed the recipe exactly except I did not use the whole bottle of pepper sauce, I used about 3/4. I used other suggestions and shredded the roast after about 5 hours, when I did the meat was already so tender it fell apart so we waited another hour 1/2 and served it with home made flour tortillas, pico de gallo and shredded cheese and it was delicious! My husband ate 4 tacos. I am going to use the left over meat today for a burrito pie recipe from this site.
