Garbanzo Bean Chocolate Cake (Gluten Free!)

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2012
Loved it! I will never go back to making a cake with flour again, and I'm not even gluten intolerant!

Black Bean Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
Very good! I blended these WELL in a Vitamix, which I think is key to a very smooth texture. I added 4 T. of oil in hopes it would be moisture and less cake-like, 1 1/2 t. vanilla and 1 t. of almond extract, doubled the instant coffee and added some baking powder. I honestly cannot taste the black beans at all.

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

Excellent cookies, perfect texture. I didn't make the icing however, and they were great without it.

Rich and Creamy Tomato Basil Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2010
Very good but used half and half instead of heavy cream and 1/4 c. butter instead of 1/2 c. to make it not as fattening. I also added 1 garlic clove and 1/4 c. sun dried tomatoes.

Creamy Italian Dressing I

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2010
Excellent! A keeper for sure. I made the following modifications: used 1 garlic clove instead of garlic powder, used raw organic honey instead of sugar.

This is sooo good and so easy to make. I blended it up in my vitamix to make it nice and creamy. A new favorite and just in time for cold winter evenings!

Marbled Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2009
I'd give it more then 5 stars if I could! Have made this the past few Thanksgivings and it has become a staple in our Thanksgiving dinner! You won't be disappointed. Great flavor, not overly sweet or too filling...well, unless you can't stop yourself and eat half the pie in one sitting!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: May 16, 2009
Excellent! I've made this several times and it comes out great every time. I don't boil the veggies/chicken in water. I use chicken broth, and then use this broth to make the gravy for the pot pie. To make this a little healthier, use a whole wheat organic crust!
