Chocolate-Mint Brownie Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2012
A great cookie...if you like mint! I was tempted to leave out the peppermint extract because I was afraid that, combined with the Andes chips I used, it would be overly minty and it was...at least to me. Probably one or the other would be a better balance. Still a really great cookie that I'll make again!

Rich Chocolate Frosting

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2010
Loved it. Easy as can be too! Following other's suggestions, I made a half batch and had PLENTY to generously frost a 2 -ayer 9" cake. This is a keeper.

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies IV

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2010
Really good...and easy too. I used white chocolate chips (1 cup) instead of chopping my own. Chopped my own macadamia nuts too and then saw them at Walmart already chopped up! I don't really like white chocolate and even I ate several.

Guacamole

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2010
Wow...this is great. I've never made my own guacamole before and was a little intimidated but this was so simple and quick and absolutely fantastic! I left out the cayenne pepper (because I forgot about it!) but wouldn't change a thing!

Banana Pudding Cake

Reviewed: May 25, 2010
Really a great cake if you like banana pudding! I used 2 medium sized bananas (which was more than 3/4 cup but I was trying to use them up), baked in a 9X13, and used the CoolWhip/vanilla pudding/milk/vanilla frosting in place of the frosting in the recipe. Crushed up some vanilla wafers and sprinkled them on top and it was pretty. Even better tasting the next day!

Easy Apple Crisp with Honey

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2009
This was good...a little sweeter than I like but still was gone in no time. I left out the water/lemon juice and had no problems. The other thing I would change is to add more butter to the topping mix. It was a little dry with only 4 TB of butter. Will make again for sure!

World's Best Pasta Sauce!

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2009
If you like a sweeter sauce, this is the one for you. I cooked the meat and then put it all in the crock pot for the afternoon. Got lots of compliments on it.

Triple Berry Crisp

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2009
Really good! I used frozen berries (blueberries, raspberries and blackberries) and let them thaw out for about 30 minutes. I followed the recipe exactly (except for the nutmeg which I didn't have!) and it turned out great. The bottom crust is a bonus! Got lots of compliments. Hated to admit how easy this was to make. This will stay in my recipe box for sure!

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2008
This was really easy and really good. The next time, I might cut back on the sugar just a tad...maybe 3/4 of a cup instead of a whole cup as it was just a little sweet but still really tasty. I used a 3 pound bag of Granny Smith apples. Will do this again for sure!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2008
Fabulous! I made this as written and they are really good. I halved it and got 36 good sized cookies. They don't spread out much so you can get more on the cookie sheet. Super moist!

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2008
Made this just as it was written and it was fabulous!! I made 12 muffins...baked about 25 minutes...and ate 2 of them before they were even cooled off. I don't even like cornbread but these were really great!

Corn Dip II

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2007
Fabulous! I brought this to a pot-luck today and it is all gone. Probably have had 6 requests for the recipe! Tried it at home last week...both cold and hot..and we prefer it cold. I followed the recipe as it is and got great results! Served it with blue corn chips...what a treat! Thanks.

Microwave Pralines

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2007
Oh my...I had to run back to the store and get more pecans because I ate too many and there weren't enough to take to work!! Other than using butter instead of margerine (because it was all I had) I followed the recipe exactly. These are fabulous...and so easy!!

We love this recipe. Always shred it and have chicken sandwiches. I've experimented with different BBQ sauces and it always tastes great!

Made them just as the recipe said (but had to use semi-sweet chunks because that was all I had) and they were fabulous!! Great recipe!

Banana Oatmeal Crumb Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2005
This cake was terrific!! I added about 1/2 cup more banana (mostly because I had only 1 left and wanted to get rid of it) but other than that, I followed the recipe as written. Very moist and great flavor! This didn't last long at my house!!
