Cannoli II

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2007
I am not a cannoli fan, but my husband is and liked these. I changed it a little though. I put a little cinnamon in the filling and drasined the ricotta. Also use powdered sugar instead of white. When finished, dust with pwdered sugar and dip the ends in choc chips or coconut. not bad...

Michelle's Soft Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2005
I make 3 batches of cookies every year and this was a new one this year. The dough is WAY too sticky to work with after being out for more than 5 minutes. The cookies are okay once you fight with the dough, but I have tried many other better sugar cookie recipes. These are more cakey than crunchy, so if that's what you like than these will be a good choice for you.

Pizzelles II

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2005
Yay! I was searching for something that tasted like my Italian Grandmother's recipe. I made these today as sort of a "test" run. I added a teaspoon of vanilla and they were perfect!! I am very happy with this recipe and will make again for the holidays.

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2004
These were definitely easy and some of the best I have ever had. I made Christmas cutouts and they turned out so great! This recipe makes plenty of dough for a lot of cookies. They are not too soft but not too crunchy either. In my opinion, the best sugar recipe on this site. I tired another and they were cakey. These are ideal for holiday baking.

Crab and Lobster Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2003
Made these for a party this weekend...gone before they hit the table!! I must have had 7 different requests for the recipe. I did add a little extra butter to the mixture however the moisten a bit more and used 2 cans of crab meat instead of lobster. More affordable to make and just as good. Will make you look like a pro. Sooooo yummy and very easy.

Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: May 23, 2002
Love this!! I made this instead of a birthday cake for my fiance. I had already baked a carrot cake earlier, so this was a great alternative to the usual. I used all fat free ingredients and reduced fat Nillas. I used soy milk instead of regular and no one could tell the difference. I think I will cut the condensed milk to 1/2 a can next time...very sweet. Everyone that came over LOVED this. I will make again. A great low fat recipe.

Carrot Cake III

Reviewed: May 20, 2002
This is the best cake I've ever had...let alone ever made! It was super moist and flavorful. I used applesauce to replace some oil as suggested by other reviewers. I added nutmeg to the batter and frosting. I also cut the sugar in the frosting to 2 cups and it was perfect! I love this cake and will make again and again. Thanks!

Love this one!! I made for Mother's Day brunch for my family. Being pressed for time, this was perfect! I just threw together the night before, then popped in the oven in the morning. I used soy milk instead of regular. Yummy! No one even noticed the difference. Great recipe, will use again.

blah!! that's what I think of this bread. It was so heavy and the flavor wasn't good at all! I tried the Banana Sour Cream recipe on this site thanks to a recommendation from a previos reviewer. That was the best tasting bread ever! I made it for Mother's Day brunch and what a hit it was!

Hands down, best banana bread ever!!! I made this for Mother's Day brunch and it was soooo good! I tried the Banana Banana Bread recipe on this site last week and threw it out because it was so bad. I was so pleased at how moist and flavorful this bread turned out. Everyone loved it! I will definitely make this one again.

Banana Pudding Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2002
yum, yum! This was so easy to make. I made it for my family and my fiance. They all loved it...and it made me look like an experienced baker. I melted cream cheese frosting and drizzled over top, then served with fresh banana slices with a dab of frosting. So yummy!
