Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
My first apple pie was a success! I used 3lbs of Granny Smith apples and my pie was huge! I didn't use water and instead added 1 T of vanilla extract. I also tossed the apples in cinnamon before covered them with half the sauce and pouring it al into my pie crust. As suggested I brushed the bottom of my crust with egg and it was not soggy. I covered the pie with a full pie shell and cut out four "leaves". I then spread the rest of my sauce on top and cooked the pie on a coookie sheet for an hour. The sauce was really thick and gritty, but it didn't affect the taste. The pie is a bit tart right out of the oven, but sweetens as it cools.

Basic Yankee Bread Stuffing
This is just like the stuffing my grandmother used to make. It's delicious. I omit the sausage and use poultry seasoning instead of sage. This is a classic for sure!

Eggnog Cheesecake III
I made this for Thanksgiving and my family loved this recipe. I used almond extract instead of rum, increased the eggnog to 1 1/4 cup, and doubled the flour. The Crust was Ginger Snaps and I made a caramel sauce for the top. It was a hug hit. Next time I'll make sure the eggnog is room temperature because once I added it cold to my cream cheese it was a bit lumpy, but still delicious.
