Asian-Styled Marinated Pork Belly

Reviewed: May 15, 2012
I just cooked this with some slight adjustments. I used alot of garlic, minced, and had ginger paste that I just squeezed about 2 inches. Was so tasty, me and my mother ate it, as is. It's almost gone. I'd recommend saving the first boiling, as it'll make excellent pork broth. Just pour into a bowl with a mesh sieve to filter and set the bowl in another bowl of ice water until cooled. Then scoop the fat out and store for later. The left over sauce from the dish can also be added to the broth for more flavor :D

Cioppino: The seafood stew

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2011
This is such an awesome recipe, I cooked this for a friend of mine's family and they raved about it! I didn't go exactly by the recipe, but simply got all the ingredients together and just added more or less on some of things. I liked mussels but never though I'd eat clams from the shell but did and loved it! I also loved how this wasn't such a tomato-y broth as the only kind of tomato-y broth with seafood I like is Manhattan Clam chowder. Was sooo delicious and is a definite keeper!

Honey White Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2005
The bread had a beautiful coloring and texture. I did like one of the reviewers suggested and used an egg and also skip the Vit. C, since I didn't have any anyways, and replaced the ground ginger with a pinch of Sassafras. I also like using goat milk in place of regular cow milk, since I find it gives my breads more flavor. My mother loved it and ate most of it lol. The flavor was certainly interesting, may used it as a sort of base recipe for other ideas I have in mind.
