Whole Wheat Sweet Potato Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2010
These are wonderful!! I made suggested changes from other reviews, also......ie. 1/2 the amount of honey, 1/2 oil and 1/2 applesauce (to cut down on the amount of oil). The topping makes enough for a double batch of muffins. For those of you who raise sweet potatoes in your garden and they are bigger than a typical sweet potato from the store.......I used about 1 cup of sweet potato and it was great (add a little bit more if the batter looks too dry. ENJOY!!

Chocolate-Zucchini Cupcakes

These are very yummy!! I used the chocolate buttercream frosting recipe to top them off. I also added chocolate chips to the batter. Definatley quenches the chocolate/sweet tooth.

Savory Crescent Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2006
This is a very family friendly recipe. All of my kids loved it!! Next time I might add some garlic or garlic salt to the mixture. Also, I did not have any crutons so I used Italian seasoned bread crumbs instead. I even used Neufchatel cheese (low fat cream cheese) and low fat crescent rolls. This recipe is going to be a keeper!!

Candy-Coated Milk Chocolate Pieces Party Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2006
This is a great recipe!! It is very similar to my chocolate chip cookie recipe so, I decided to tweek it a bit. Instead of the 1/2 cup of sugar, I used 1/4 cup of sugar and then added a 3.4 oz. box of instant vanilla pudding. This recipe is a keeper!!

Baker's Clay

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2005
This was a great project to do with the kids. Since the dough likes to puff up I tried baking it at 250 degrees for about 1-2 hours (depending on how thick the cookie was) and they did not seem to puff up. Thanks for the great recipe!!!

Manicotti Alla Romana

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2005
This was a great recipe. Instead of using half and half in the cream sauce I used 1% milk and it tasted great. I also used jumbo shell noodles instead of manicotti. My kids even loved it--they said "it tastes like we are eating at a resturaunt".
