Pumpkin Cookies with Penuche Frosting
My husband and I thought these were great. Fluffy and delicious. I think next time I'll add a bit of the Pumpin Pie Spice to it and just a bit more of the pumpkin puree. I also liked the frosting but a little less sugar and a splash of vanilla would make it a bit better. Thanks for the recipe!

Pork Chops a la Slow Cooker
I changed this so much based on the other posts that it is probably not the same recipe anymore. I doubled the soup, added spicy mustard and the left over flour to get it to thicken into a soupy gravy. The pork was fall-apart tender and very tasty. Next time, I don't think I'll bother with the pan frying part, as the breading falls off and it doesn't seem to need it. Served over wild rice, but I think I'll do it with potatoes next time. All in all, a keeper. Thanks for the recipe Jan.

Mouse's Macaroni and Cheese
This turned out so very good! I doubled it for a big pan, and it was my first homemade mac & cheese. I was so worried because it looked watery and then it bubbled over and burnt in the oven. (Putting it on a baking sheet next time). I used a large flat casserol pan uncovered and omitted the bread crumbs. Next time I might get some asiago to sprinkle on top for some extra zing. Leave it to a Mouse to get great cheese! Thanks!
