This was really good. I marinated it for several hours and grilled in on my George Foreman. Great low cal meal!

Cranberry Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2007
This was great! We really like the orange taste the juice provided! So easy too. We aren't big fans of sweet things so I may try reducing the sugar next time to see what that yields. It was really wonderful and so easy too!!

Savory Turkey Gravy

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2007
The flavors of the gravy were good. Be careful however, I used turkey stock with salt and then I added the additional salt the recipe called for. Way too much!!! I also had trouble since I felt like my gravy tasted a bit too much like flour...Perhaps it was just me....it was easy tough and good in a pinch...I will keep experimenting however!

Roasted Vegetables

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2007
These are delicious! The onions carmelize so wonderfully...So easy! I took the suggestion of increasing the balsamic to a 1:1 ratio with the oil. Came out great! Will make again in the near future. Such a great healthy dish that tastes wonderful. Thanks for the recipe!

Perfect Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2007
The flavors of this pumpkin pie are great! I didn't rate it a 5 because I found it to be just a bit sweet for our tastes. I also just made the custard rather than as a pie (to cut calories). I made the filling and poured it into a 1qt corning ware dish put that in a baking pan in a hot water bath (surrounded by about 1 inch of warm water) and baked it at 325 for 45ish minutes! I've also tried the same recipe using evaporated milk instead of the condensed milk and adding 3 tab. sugar...very tasty and less caloric!!

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2007
This stuffing is delicious!!! I followed the advice of others and used fresh herbs...amazing. I also used sourdough bread which I purchased fresh and just let it sit out of a day. I also used pork sausage instead of the turkey. I think it gave it more flavor. I omitted the turkey liver and used a granny smith since that's what I had. Oh, I also added an egg as others suggested to hold it together better. The only change I will make in the future is to use more bread. I like the mushiness of stuffing. I found there to be a lot of other "things" and not enough bread...but the taste is fantastic!!!

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2007
This turkey was very very moist! I am a first time turkey cooker and it was a really easy recipe. I used all fresh herb instead of the dried (the ratio is 1 tea dried: 3 tea fresh). I have to say, I couldn't taste the herbs that much. My turkey also wasn't very crispy, perhaps that was me...But overall, it was a really simple, stress free recipie that produced a moist turkey!

Chicken with Garlic, Basil, and Parsley

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2007
A really great low fat and cal option! I cut the red pepper flakes in half as we don't like too much spice. It still had a bit of a kick to it though. Very good. Will make again for sure!

Honeyed Pork Chops

This dish was so easy to make. I did cook the pork chops the full hour and they came out just fine. My boyfriend loved them and he has many dietary restrictions and these fit everything I look for in a receipe perfectly! Thanks for the wonderful, easy to make dish!

Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2005
This recipe was so easy. The pork was really tender and soaked up the wine flavor really nicely. I would for sure make this again. The gravy however was too salty for my taste. Perhaps next time I'll just add a bit more wine and make homemade gravy.

Peach Berry Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2005
I have never made a cobbler before and thought that this was fairly simple. It was a big hit at the dinner party. I liked the big taste to offer for fairly low amount of calories!
