Chinese-Style Baby Bok Choy with Mushroom Sauce
Even better with fresh shiitake mushrooms!! And add a splash of sesame oil to the oyster sauce mixture. Baby bok choy really only needs 30-90 seconds minutes in the boiling water or else it gets chewy and limp.

Grandma Johnson's Scones
Have made two batches and this recipe is so easy, simple, successful... amazing! I used whole milk (plain) yogurt for the sour cream both times and it worked beautifully. Subbed mixed dried berries for the raisins.

Oatmeal Butterscotch Cookies
Amazing recipe. Followed the tip of other reviewers: I decreased both sugars to a half cup each, AND only added one cup of butterscotch chips (and 2/3 cups chocolate chips). It was still insanely sweet. I also added 3/4 cup dried cranberries, half cup chopped walnuts, and half cup raw sunflower seeds. The cookies were demolished very quickly. LOVE the recipe, and will put even less sugar (or butterscotch chips) next time!!! Also... 9 minutes does seem to be the magic number (I dropped by level tablespoons).
