Creamy Chocolate Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2005
This is wonderful chocolate pie! It's fairly simple but so much better than using plain ol' chocolate pudding pie filling.

T's Sweet Potato Fries

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2010
So good! I took the advice of other reviews and skipped the microwave. I used a French fry cutter so my fries were very uniform and cooked easily. Thanks for the recipe!

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
Wow! I used 2 Tbsp. in the Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup and it was out of this world. I may never buy taco seasoning from the store again. Thank you for sharing!

Coconut Pancake Syrup

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2011
Yum! Like everyone else, I had banana pancakes and coconut syrup while on vacation in Hawaii and loved it! This recipe is delicious! Exactly what I was looking for. It's great as is, but I think next time I will try adding some coconut extract for extra coconut flavor.

Irresistible Irish Soda Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2011
I had never had soda bread or corned beef & cabbage but my mom wanted some for St. Patrick's Day, so I tried this recipe and the recipe for slow cooker corned beef & cabbage. Wow! It was delicious! I will definitely be making this again. Thanks for the recipe! I should mention that it overflowed in my oven, so make sure your loaf pans are big enough!

Corned Beef and Cabbage

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2011
Before this last St. Patrick's Day, I had never tried corned beef & cabbage, much less made it myself! Now that I have tried it, I wonder why people only make it on St. Patrick's Day. It's delicious! And this recipe made it so easy. I cooked dinner for my parents and my in-laws and everyone loved it. I served it with Irresistible Irish Soda Bread, also from allrecipes. I will most definitely make this again. Thank you for sharing!

Best-Ever Cornbread-Sausage Stuffing

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2011
I made this for my husband's extended family for Thanksgiving and it was a hit! I took a shortcut and used stuffing bread pieces from the bakery at the grocery store. It worked great!

Tomatillo Salsa Verde

Reviewed: May 11, 2011
Thank you for sharing this recipe! I used a seeded jalapeno instead of a serrano because that's what I had and it's very mild. I plan to make chicken enchiladas and chile verde with it so I wanted it mild, but if I made a batch just to eat with tortilla chips I would want more heat. I can't wait to try this in my chile verde (the Colorado Green Chili recipe from this site).

Easy Pizza Sauce II

Reviewed: May 11, 2011
Exactly what I was looking for! A lot of other recipes use tomato paste, which I never have. I used fresh oregano and basil because I had some and it was great! I will definitely be making this again!

Citrus Turkey Brine

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2011
I have brined a few turkeys and chickens, and this was the easiest brine I've ever used. I used it for turkey and it turned out great! It's definitely a keeper!

Pizza Crust I

Reviewed: May 11, 2011
This is my new favorite recipe! This is my first try at making my own pizza crust and it couldn't have been easier. It was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Mine browned perfectly, so I don't know why other people are having problems. I will never buy pizza dough again.

Fresh Mango Salsa

This is my new favorite thing! I took it to my parents' house and we served it over baked tilapia. It was delicious! I'm going to eat whatever's left on baked tortilla chips.

Broccoli Potato Soup

Reviewed: May 18, 2011
This is just what I was looking for! I had broccoli I needed to use up. This is also great because it's one of those recipes that you can keep the ingredients on hand and make it in a pinch. I only used half an onion (finely diced) and 1/4 tsp. dried basil. Thanks for sharing!

Speedy Homemade Salsa

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2011
Just what I was looking for. I used 5 fresh tomatoes because I had some that I needed to use. I also think next time I will try to use fresh lime juice in place of the vinegar.

Easy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2011
This is just what I was looking for! I buy cake mixes by the case when my grocery store has its case lot sales, so I am always looking for ways to use them. I used 1 1/2 c. milk chocolate chips because that's all I had. I definitely think 2 c. semisweet would be better! I can't wait to try this recipe with different variations, like chocolate cake mix and vanilla chips.

Plum-Apple Butter

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2011
I have never tried apple butter before so I don't know what it's supposed to taste like but this is delicious! I had plums and apples that I needed to use up and this was perfect for that. I ended up with a little more than 3 pints. I put it in half-pint jars and am going to give it away to family. The flesh of the plums I used was red and so my plum-apple butter is a beautiful deep red color. I love it!

Wow! Thank you so much for giving me a way to get my 22 month old daughter to eat a green vegetable! I wasn't sure what to expect but they are delicious! I followed another reviewer's advice and used butter flavored cooking spray. Talk about easy.

Crescent Dogs

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2011
These are a guilty pleasure of mine. I use turkey dogs, reduced fat American cheese, and reduced fat crescent rolls. I have never heated the hot dogs first, and I've never had a problem with the rolls being too doughy.
