Citrus Turkey Brine

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2011
I have brined a few turkeys and chickens, and this was the easiest brine I've ever used. I used it for turkey and it turned out great! It's definitely a keeper!

Crescent Dogs

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2011
These are a guilty pleasure of mine. I use turkey dogs, reduced fat American cheese, and reduced fat crescent rolls. I have never heated the hot dogs first, and I've never had a problem with the rolls being too doughy.

Plum-Apple Butter

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2011
I have never tried apple butter before so I don't know what it's supposed to taste like but this is delicious! I had plums and apples that I needed to use up and this was perfect for that. I ended up with a little more than 3 pints. I put it in half-pint jars and am going to give it away to family. The flesh of the plums I used was red and so my plum-apple butter is a beautiful deep red color. I love it!

Pollo Fajitas

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2011
Delicious! We don't love onions so instead of an onion I used a red bell pepper and it was great! I will be making these again!

Speedy Homemade Salsa

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2011
Just what I was looking for. I used 5 fresh tomatoes because I had some that I needed to use. I also think next time I will try to use fresh lime juice in place of the vinegar.

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
Wow! I used 2 Tbsp. in the Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup and it was out of this world. I may never buy taco seasoning from the store again. Thank you for sharing!

Shredded Beef for Tacos

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2009
Holy cow, this is great! We had decided we were sick of ground beef tacos and wanted a different kind of meat. This was the first recipe I tried and we loved it! We used the left over meat for enchiladas a couple days later and they were wonderful too!

Fresh Mango Salsa

Reviewed: May 16, 2011
This is my new favorite thing! I took it to my parents' house and we served it over baked tilapia. It was delicious! I'm going to eat whatever's left on baked tortilla chips.

Easy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2011
This is just what I was looking for! I buy cake mixes by the case when my grocery store has its case lot sales, so I am always looking for ways to use them. I used 1 1/2 c. milk chocolate chips because that's all I had. I definitely think 2 c. semisweet would be better! I can't wait to try this recipe with different variations, like chocolate cake mix and vanilla chips.

Broccoli Potato Soup

Reviewed: May 18, 2011
This is just what I was looking for! I had broccoli I needed to use up. This is also great because it's one of those recipes that you can keep the ingredients on hand and make it in a pinch. I only used half an onion (finely diced) and 1/4 tsp. dried basil. Thanks for sharing!

Pizza Crust I

Reviewed: May 11, 2011
This is my new favorite recipe! This is my first try at making my own pizza crust and it couldn't have been easier. It was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Mine browned perfectly, so I don't know why other people are having problems. I will never buy pizza dough again.

T's Sweet Potato Fries

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2010
So good! I took the advice of other reviews and skipped the microwave. I used a French fry cutter so my fries were very uniform and cooked easily. Thanks for the recipe!

I am not a huge fan of guacamole but I like this and so does my husband, who loves guacamole. It's great on jicama!

Country Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2010
I had never made fried chicken because I had it in my head that it would be hard. I couldn't have been more wrong! It was simple and my husband said it was the best fried chicken he's ever had. Thank you for submitting this recipe!

Party Punch VIII

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2008
I made this for a baby shower we threw for a coworker and it received rave reviews! I have seen raspberry cream soda, but I couldn't find it at the store I went to and I didn't have time to search, so I also used raspberry soda from Wal-Mart. I couldn't find raspberry kiwi juice either, so I used raspberry white grape juice and it worked great! My favorite part of the recipe is how easy it is.

Easy Turkey Gravy

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2011
I am new to making gravy and this was excellent! It makes a ton though. I could have easily halved it and still had leftovers, but that's okay! I am looking forward to using the leftovers for turkey pot pie! I made turkey stock by browning the neck and giblets with onion in butter, then added 4 cans of chicken broth and some thyme and simmered for 2 hours. Then I strained it and added the drippings to make 5 cups.

Deep Fried Jalapeno Slices

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2010
My husband and I LOVED these. He works out of town and had deep fried jalapenos at a restaurant while he was gone. He asked me to try to make some while he was home and I tried this recipe. It was awesome! The only change I made is after the first batch I added more flour to the batter so the breading would be thicker, but that is personal preference. Thanks for sharing! I'll definitely make it again!

This is wonderful! I made it to have with the slow cooker kalua pork (also from allrecipes.com) and it was a hit! It was super easy too. I can't wait to make it again and take it to work to share!
