Bob's Awesome Lasagna

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2005
This recipe is great! It's not difficult and it tastes great. I skip a step by using the type of lasagna noodles that you don't have to boil first.

Creamy Chocolate Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2005
This is wonderful chocolate pie! It's fairly simple but so much better than using plain ol' chocolate pudding pie filling.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2006
I absolutely love this recipe. I used 1/2 dried minced onions instead of 1 chopped onion, and it turned out just wonderful. I served it with quesadillas.

Party Punch IX

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2006
This is wonderful! I used cranberry jello, and 3 cups sugar instead of 4. I didn't break up the frozen mixture enough, so I wound up using 4 bottles of ginger ale for one batch. I definitely plan to use this recipe again!

This was very easy and gives the chicken a great flavor. I just wish it was crunchier.

Seashell Supper

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2006
The sauce had good flavor, but I think I must have done something wrong because the sauce never thickened. It was really watery. My family doesn't like onion, so I used garlic instead. Maybe that contributed to my problem?

I was not impressed with this recipe at all. It was runny and very bland.

Party Punch VIII

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2008
I made this for a baby shower we threw for a coworker and it received rave reviews! I have seen raspberry cream soda, but I couldn't find it at the store I went to and I didn't have time to search, so I also used raspberry soda from Wal-Mart. I couldn't find raspberry kiwi juice either, so I used raspberry white grape juice and it worked great! My favorite part of the recipe is how easy it is.

Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2009
I got a bread machine a year ago, but after making a very disappointing recipe out of the owner's manual, the bread machine was left forgotten on the counter. This recipe changed all that! I've made two loaves over the past week. I love it!

Colossal Caramel Apple Trifle

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2009
I made this for Thanksgiving and it was so good! It makes a ton so I wouldn't make it unless you have a lot of people to feed, and they're not kidding about the punch bowl part. I really did have to make mine in my punch bowl because my trifle dish wouldn't have held half of it!

Banana Pudding Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2009
I love this cake! I found it while looking for something that would use up a package of banana cream pudding I had. I took it to work and everyone loved it and asked for the recipe. I didn't even bother to put frosting on it--it doesn't need it.

Slow Cooker Shredded Venison for Tacos

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2009
I forgot to thaw my roast so I mixed the taco seasoning and cayenne pepper with the water and poured it over my frozen roast. At the end of the day it shredded easily! We hunt mule deer, and I understand they have a stronger taste than whitetail, which it what I assume most venison recipes are made for. That is why I gave this recipe four stars--the meat was pretty strong, but as I said, I believe that was the deer and not the recipe.

Shredded Beef for Tacos

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2009
Holy cow, this is great! We had decided we were sick of ground beef tacos and wanted a different kind of meat. This was the first recipe I tried and we loved it! We used the left over meat for enchiladas a couple days later and they were wonderful too!

Cheese Fondue

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2010
Like someone else commented, I don't see what is giving everyone else trouble. I had never made cheese fondue before and it turned out great! I don't have a fondue pot so I made it on my stovetop and transferred it to a fondue pot at the party, where it was a hit. I don't drink wine and know nothing about it, so thank you to those who suggested a sauvignon blanc--otherwise I would have been lost.

Country Fried Chicken

I had never made fried chicken because I had it in my head that it would be hard. I couldn't have been more wrong! It was simple and my husband said it was the best fried chicken he's ever had. Thank you for submitting this recipe!

Tropical Salad with Pineapple Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2010
I made this for a luau party I had and it was great! I doubled the recipe, but I think you could double the salad ingredients and not the dressing and be just right!

Kalua Pig in a Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2010
Wow! This is my new favorite recipe. I bought two roasts to total a little over 7 pounds and cooked it on low for 11 1/2 hours--I think my slow cooker cooks a little on the hot side. The pork just fell apart. Living in a small town in Utah, I couldn't find Hawaiian sea salt so I had to order some off the internet and it was so worth it! I took others' advice and served it over short grain rice. I also mixed in a couple handfuls of shredded cabbage during the last hour. I served it with Hawaiian Sweet Bread I and Tropical Salad with Pineapple Vinegarette from this website. I will definitely make this again!
