Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2005
My roommate loves cookie dough (she buys the refridgerated kind and eats it cold), so I made this for her birthday party. It was a huge hit with everyone. I agree that it tastes best with pretzels, so you get that great sweet & salty combination.

Figs with Goat Cheese, Pecans and Bacon

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2005
I used dates instead of figs to make these and served them at a recent party. My friends are still talking about them! I'm not sure if it was just my oven, but I did have to broil them for 10-15 minutes to get the bacon nice and crispy.

Strawberry Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2005
I added 1 tsp. vanilla and 1/4 cup brown sugar and used 1 cup all-purpose flour and 1/2 cup whole wheat flour, and these muffins came out perfectly. It is a great recipe for using up extra strawberries. They are especially tasty warm right out of the oven!

Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2005
The corn syrup in these cookies gives them a weird texture...almost too chewy. I don't think I will make them again.

Pumpkin Apple Streusel Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2005
Fabulous muffins! I didn't have any pumpkin pie spice, so I used 2 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. ginger, and 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, and they turned out great. I will definitely make these again!

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2005
This stuffing is a very good combination of flavors. I thought it was a little heavy on the sausage, so I added more bread, an extra apple, and more chicken stock. I baked it in a 9X13 inch pan at 350 degrees for about an hour, and it turned out great.

Monterey Jack Salsa

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2006
A tasty variation to regular salsa. I think I would use less Italian dressing next time, so that flavor is not too overwhelming.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2006
I substituted 1 cup of flour with whole wheat flour and made muffins. It made 12 good sized muffins with great banana taste. I kept them in the refridgerator and microwaved 1 each morning for about 20 seconds. Great for breakfast on the run!
