Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2012
This was a good recipe. I cooked it all day on low and I think that may have been too long. It was so fall apart tender I couldn't even slice it! It did taste good, but it wasn't a favorite.

Slow Cooker Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2012
This was not the prettiest looking lasagna I've ever made, but it did taste good. I like this recipe because I can omit the step of cooking the noodles first.

GREAT! Halved the recipe and omitted the whole tomatoes. Wonderful - will make again.

Goat Cheese and Arugula over Penne

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2012
We LOVED this recipe! With good ingredients like arugula and goat cheese it is hard to go wrong. I didn't have any fresh tomatoes so I used a can of diced and it still turned out great. This is a really good vegetarian dinner to put in our rotation. Highly recommended!

Blueberry Bars

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2011
Loved this recipe. It definitely has a coffee cake sort of vibe to it, just more fruity and gooey. I loved that they stayed moist for so long since I was afraid they'd get dry after a day or two. My husband liked them a lot and he requested that next time I make them with apple or cherry pie filling. I also might leave the lemon out of the glaze next time for a more simple flavor. Also, this definitely didn't make 48 servings like the recipe said (I didn't expect it to). I got about 16 large squares out of it.

Baked Potato Skins

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2012
Made these for game day. The seasoning on the outside of the skins is KEY. Turned out so good! Very filling too.

Slow Cooker Chicken Parisienne

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2011
LOVE THIS. It is my go-to chicken and rice recipe. Sometimes I leave out the can of mushrooms since I'm not a huge fan of them but it turns out great anyway. My original recipe, which I got from my mother in law, says not to add the sour cream and flour until 30 minutes before serving. Good stuff!

Teena's Spicy Pesto Chicken and Pasta

Loved it! Will file this one away in my recipe book for many repeats to come. Very easy and tasty! I recommend using cavatappi pasta.

Pepperoncini Beef

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2011
Turned out great! I was honestly worried it wouldn't be good because the smell it made while it was cooking was kind of off-putting - but it was delicious. Very easy. Will do again.

Sam's Famous Carrot Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2014
This is a great recipe! It was so dense I might even call it a pudding of sorts. For a lighter texture I might use less vegetable oil next time. Will definitely make again.

Very easy side dish. Next time I might make it with fresh green beans.

Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2012
I used this recipe for chicken and LOVED it. (Had to reduce the juice by half at the end since there was so much it made it too soupy.)

Black-Eyed Pea Chowder

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2012
This was really good! Due to the severe lack of spices in this recipe I improvised with salt, pepper, Mrs. Dash and a little cayenne. Turned out great. Served it with cornbread.

Lentil and Smoked Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2009
Great! So easy and very tasty. I threw everything in the crockpot for a few hours and it turned out awesome. Also used Turkey sausage instead of vegetarian. According to MY taste, it also needed quite a bit of salt. Will definitely make this again.

Oregon Salmon Patties

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2014
These were pretty good I guess, but none of my family went nuts over it. I probably won't make it again unless I can use fresh salmon, which is tough to do since I'm from Oklahoma. Oh well.

Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

My husband and I LOVED this recipe. The tomatoes gave it such great flavor. We couldn't think of anything to make it better. We will definitely be making this over and over again!
