Halloween Brain Dip

The trick is use a sharp knife and don't cut away too much cauliflower. This is great idea and it was a hit! I cheated and used some guacamole from the store.

I love this recipe. I made it as it was written and for tuna casserole it was great. I really like that it doesn't have soup in it. A very versatile recipe, you can add more cheese if you like or not.

Seafood Lasagna II

This was quite good. I did add some asiago cheese to it but other than that I stuck to it as written. I thought it did come out rather runny. I think the key to making this good is using quality ingredients like fresh crab meat not the canned stuff. It makes it more expensive , but it tastes better.

This recipe is the bomb! I like the powdered sugar and vanilla in the dough. The only thing I do differently is use pecans but walnuts would work great too

Concord Grape Pie II

This really had a unique grape flavor. Very strong, something you would need to get used to. I think for a grape pie this was a good recipe. My family ate it all.

Cantonese Dinner

Kinda blah. I made this recipe the way it was written just to try it as is but I ended up adding pepper flakes to it. That helped a little. I saw the part about the pineapple but did not know how that would go over. I used the remaining meat the next day mixed with bbq sauce and that was ok. I don't think I will be making this one again.

This is an excellent recipe. My mom always makes her pies with an oil crust but I could never figure out how she did it. This is the first oil pie crust that has worked perfectly for me.

Chicken Fried Steak III

This is a good basic recipe but there were parts I left out. I tried to dip it in the flour mix with eggs but it ended up being such a goo glob that I ended up adding water to it to get it to work. I don't like a coating of eggs underneath the batter. Also, under the advice of others I didn't put in the hot pepper spices in the gravy. The gravy turned out great otherwise.

Baked Spaghetti I

I followed this recipe almost exactly the way it was written. The only variation I did was I used Italian seasoned diced tomatoes. Even my picky daughter ate this up. I think this is an excellent recipe.

Black Pepper Beef and Cabbage Stir Fry

This is not the most beautiful meal, but it tastes great. I gave it 4 stars because I didn't totally follow it. I added a soy garlic sauce made by Iron Chef. This was a great addition, it added more flavor. I definately would make it again as there were no leftovers.

Chicken Milano

This was a good recipe but I did not see the need to use 2 pots to prepare it. I cooked the chicken first and then I browned the garlic and added the broth and the rest. It worked out just fine that way.

Oil Pie Crust
