Cinnamon-Roasted Almonds

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2013
used 1 TBS cinnamon, no salt, 1/3 cup light brown sugar (which i mixed in my bullet)used vanilla extract for the water....baked in 250 deg oven for 1:20, stirring after each 20 mins..... we love these almonds, but we really love cinnamon, so i upped the amount.....nuts made with the egg white as opposed to an oil mixture come out much better, and with less calories......i make a pound of these every week!!

Cheddar Cheese Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2012
Just made this bread in the bread machine because my oven is on the fritz....i followed the directions, but reading what others said, i cut the cheese into little cubes, and mixed it all with the dry ingredients before adding it to the water/butter in the bread pan...i also added 1 tbs of gluten....when the cycle was almost over i looked inside and boy that bread had risen over the top of the looked like abe lincoln's top hat....i cut the end piece and it was so big that i made a sandwich from that one piece cut in half!...awesome taste, not extremely cheesy but you can taste the cheese....i'll def make this bread again, with a bit less gluten....

Classic Creamy Coleslaw

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2009
this is a great recipe...everyone loves it!..i buy 2 bags of the tri-color slaw and then chop it (like kfc does)..i have a chopper so it goes fast...then i only make HALF of the dressing...this way it never gets soupy, and the slaw still turns out perfect...that's the only change i make...really good slaw recipe, thanks!!

White Bean Turkey Chili

Reviewed: May 15, 2009
this is pretty good..i only used 2 cans of beef broth and still thought it was too soupy, so i used some cornstarch to thicken it..i also used a small can of fire roasted green chilies, some garlic and a red pepper, only because i had it in the fridge...the addition of cocoa and cinnamon is a nice touch and certainly not overpowering...this one is a keeper!

Ok, i finally made this recipe and it came out great!...kudos from everyone who ate it...I used scallions instead of reg. onions and added some pepper...i normally don't use a lot of salt, i just let everyone add their own, but this is a keeper...i might add a bit less vinegar next time, but all in all a really great potato salad..thanks!
