Ali's Amazing Bruschetta

Make it a little early and put it in the fridge to let the bruschetta come together. Definitely add balsamic, I love basil. Fresh is better, but especially if you have time to let the dried herbs rehydrate in the mix, use 'em!

Cornish Game Hens with Garlic and Rosemary

These were pretty good. It definitely needed to cook 15-20 more minutes. The lemon came through somewhat strong so next time I think I'll either add more rosemary or an orange slice.

A Hearty Green Bean and Sausage Casserole

This came out great. The hit of the evening. We used apple-pork sausage which was delicious. We don't really like onions so we substituted crutons which worked very well. Next time I think we're going to saute some mushrooms in with the sausage to add a little extra, but this was great.

Apricot Baked Ham

This was delicious. We didn't have cloves and we ended up using the fancy mustard with the seeds in it rather than dry mustard, but the glaze and the ham were both delicious. I've made this ham a few times since my first review. Here are some more tips that may help: 1. I usually add the brown sugar to the glaze rather than patting it on top. I don't think it makes much difference and it's cleaner. 2. One of the big keys is putting the glaze on BEFORE you start to bake the ham. That way it crusts a little and is totally delicious. I usually add a small second layer of glaze with about 30 minutes to go. 3. I don't have this part down pat but loosely covering the ham with aluminum foil until the last 30 minutes does make the ham jucier.

Feta Chicken

Super easy and tasted great! I added a dash of old bay onto the chicken, a bit of butter on top to keep it moist. I'm sure that adding some crumbled bacon in would be good, and maybe adding some italian cheese in with the bread crumbs, but seriously it's delicious without doing anything extra and what's so great about the recipie is that it literally took about 2 minutes of prep after preheating the oven.

The basic recipe for the chicken was good. The lemon curry sauce was decent, but I think next time i'll either go with more lemon or more curry.
