Mall Pretzels

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2006
Tastes perfect. They don't keep well though. The next day they were very tough. Luckily they don't often make it to the next day.

Glazed Meatloaf I

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2006
My kids absolutely loved it and ate it all. It was a little too sweet for my taste. I will definitely be making it again since the family liked it so much.

English Muffins

Reviewed: May 14, 2006
These were easy to make and were very fun to eat. I am going to experiment a little and see if I can give them a more open texture- mine had a very fine texture.

Yeast Waffles

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2006
These were amazing! They stayed crisp even as leftovers. We ate them with a little whipped cream and frozen berries. The yeast gave such a full flavor it needed very little topping.

Baked Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2006
I must have done something wrong. I followed the recipe exactly but I ended up with a rice cereal that wasn't custardy or pudding-like. Maybe I used too long of a grain rice. I won't be trying this recipe again.

These were perfect. I've never had homemade doughnuts turn out well at all and these were some of the better doughnuts I've ever had- homemade or not.

Savory Pork Stew

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2006
I had a bunch of pork that I needed to use. This recipe was exactly what I was looking for. I have to admit that I used what I had. I used turkey stock (homemade, frozen from thanksgiving, and cream of chicken soup. They worked fine. I really liked the milk base. The texture turned out very hearty and it made great leftovers.

Colleen's Potato Crescent Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2006
I've started using this recipe whenever I need bread dough for anything except bread. I tried it first for crescent rolls and received much praise at Thanksgiving. I've since used this recipe with much success in cinnamon rolls and pizza dough as well. It is slightly sweet and extremely smooth.

Jack's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2006
I've been looking for a cookie recipe that is chewy like I like them. This recipe is exactly what I wanted. It is a bit crispy on the outside and nice and chewy. Its very chocolatey. I didn't have any problems with them spreading as some people have mentioned.

Fabulous Homemade Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2006
This bread recipe is simple and always turns out wonderfully. Sometimes I replace the wheat flour with all-purpose if I want an even lighter texture but only occasionally. I usually halve the recipe so it will fit in my mixer.
