Pumpernickel Spinach Dip I

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2005
This was so quick and easy and my family ate the entire thing in an afternoon. Although, I did substitute vegetable soup mix for the dill dip since my husbands not a fan of dill.

Triple Dipped Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2005
It WAS crunchy, but the overall flavor wasn't anything special. The deep frying takes quite a while, so for me, the reward was not worth the effort.

Artichoke and Sun-Dried Tomato Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2006
Easy and tasty! What more could you ask? I made minor changes based on others' reviews. I added chopped, cooked bacon, a little chicken broth and garlic powder and served it over angel hair pasta. We loved it and will definitely be adding it to our meal rotation.

Peanut Butter Bars I

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2008
Wow. These should be classified as a controlled substance they are so good and so addictive. I only changed the recipe slightly by adding some milk chocolate in with the semi sweet and I also used natural organic peanut butter with no ill effects. Thanks for the great recipe!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2008
I made this with my 4 and 6 year old kids tonight. They had the best time cutting ham, cleaning the potatoes and making the white sauce! It tasted great too.

Lazanki

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2008
I found this recipe when searching for a dish my friend who lives in Ethiopia could make with easily obtained/common ingredients. It was pretty good, but I ended up adding a little more soy sauce, crushed red pepper flakes and a dash of maple syrup to give it an Asian sweet/spicy flavor. I might add some ginger the next time around. Per others' recommendations, I also sauteed the cabbage and onion together while the spaghetti was cooking and I did not bake it in the oven at all.

Soft Sugar Cookies IV

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2005
i followed some of the advice of others that wrote in and rolled the cookies into bigger balls (golf ball size) and then pressed them down a bit with a glass. they came out just like i wanted. big, soft, chewy. i didn't do the sugar as i thought they'd be yummy with frosting on top.

Asiago Sun-Dried Tomato Pasta

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2005
This tasted great! Can't go wrong with bacon and asiago cheese, right? The only thing I changed was that I didn't add the last cup of cream. It didn't look like it needed it and the consistency was fine without it.

Salsa II

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2005
Great tasting. I used some serrano chilis and some habaneros and it was a tad too spicy even for my husband's taste. The flavor was great though. I'll definitely try it again and modify the heat a little.

Cuban Midnight Sandwich

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2005
Great tasting and easy to throw together. I followed the recipe with the exception of adding red onion and grilling the sandwiches on my indoor grill which made it like a panini. we'll do this one again for sure.

Charley's Slow Cooker Mexican Style Meat

I made enchiladas with chicken I cooked with this recipe and they were great. Although, I didn't cook the chicken as long as directed. The flavoring was perfect.
