Homestyle Potato Chips

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2005
I love this recipe, because it's basic enough to add to. I felt comfortable making changes to suit my taste. For example, i soaked the potatoes overnight in a solution half vinegar/water (I love vinegar chips). I also made a batch with sweet potatoes following the recipe, including salt soak, but then finishing with a cinnamon-sugar shake. Enjoyable and easy. Highly recommended.

Marinated Olives

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2006
Coming from a family of olive-enthusiasts (as children we even received olives in our stockings), I found this recipe quite pleasing and easy to put together. I did take other reviewers' suggestions, and added garlic & lemon zest. I will make again, and plan on passing the recipe to my brothers. Cheers!

Beer Bread I

So quick, so EZ! I poured the prepared batter into a round cake pan and let settle for 20 minutes before baking. Took 25 minutes to have a delicious bread. I used Fat Tire amber ale this time around, but may experiment with IPA's. Thanks for the fun recipe!

Smoked Salmon and Egg Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2005
Made using canned smoked salmon and sans dill (a spice not readily available in Jeolla Province, S. Korea). Nice break from usual egg salad, and easy to add local flair through other seasonings. recommended.
