Best Brownies

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2005
wanted to see what all the hype was about... and i am so glad i did! these brownies are beyond yum :) the only change i made was i only used one egg, lightly beaten, to make sure it was less cake-like and more brownilicious. also, make sure that you don't overbeat the batter. other than that, this recipe was definitely worth the try! next time i make this i'll try the frosting although the reviews on the frosting here are suspect:/ and so it goes, these "best brownies" may be best without the frosting...

Mini Cheesecakes III

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2005
i thought this recipe was great... it was my first time making cheesecake and it turned out wonderful with the instructions here for six mini-cakes. i followed it exactly and only made one change that i think definitely made it my own--i used some homemade chocolate chocolate chip cookies for the crust! yum yum indeed especially with a topping fresh raspberries (one or two per cake) and a dollop of whip cream (just a little) and i also garnished with a mint leave... perfecto!

Absolutely Sinful Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2005
i loved this recipe! i read the reviews and was worried it might be too chocolatey so i only used 2 blocks of unsweetened chocolate instead of 2 and a half. it was definitely a brownie/cake-like cookie as the others described which is totally what i wanted... if you like your cookies that way you should try this :)

Cranberry Nut Bread I

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2005
beyond yummy... i made sure there was enough orange zest in there to give it an extra kick and used walnuts to give it some texture... oh so good!

Cousin Cosmo's Greek Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2005
although time consuming, my hubby and i thought it was delish!i added a little bit of white wine to give more flavor and i suggest doubling up on the spinach as it tastes so good soaking up all the juices :)

Artichoke Spinach Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2005
i loved this recipe! i changed it a bit by not using veg broth and instead i used red wine which intensified the flavor of the the sweet basil i used instead of rosemary... so good, my hubby & i agree, this is the yummiest lasagna :)
