Best Ever Pie Crust
This recipe was the perfect complement to the pies I baked this Thanksgiving. I needed very little water in the recipe, but I also used expeller pressed palm oil in lieu of traditional shortening. I tried half butter/ half shortening as well and it turned out equally tasty. I would recommend either one.

Fresh Pumpkin Pie
I was absolutely thrilled with the way this pie turned out. The filling would never have fit in one pan, though. I split it between two pans and used the Best Ever Pie Crust also from Note: the filling seemed really thin, but thickened beautifully as it baked. I will use this as my new standard pumpkin pie. My entire family thanks you for the wonderful recipe! It is well worth the effort to use fresh baked pumpkin.

Pecan Pie V
I made this pie with pecans my son and I gathered together. Paired with the Best Ever Pie Crust recipe on this site, you can't imagine a better tasting pecan pie. I let it bake a little longer because I was not sure how to tell when this one was done. The knife never came out totally clean, but it was done. The extra time made the pecans on top of the pie nice and crunchy. Yum-O
