About this Cook
As a Japanese-English interpreter and married for over 10 years. I keep myself busy with work and cooking at home. I go to the gym after work usually so I usually don't have much time to cook on weekedays so am good at saving time in cooking. I enjoy cooking and baking on weekends!!
My favorite things to cook
I mainly cook Japanese food and other asian dishes, especially Thai food. I also like baking and bring sweets to work.
My favorite family cooking traditions
As many Japanese families do, we cook osechi (New Year dishes) in the last two days of the year to eat on the New Year day.
My cooking triumphs
It was when I tried to cook some Thai dishes by reading a Thai cook book that I bought in Thailand and turned out exactly the way I wanted!!!
My cooking tragedies
There are many tragedies in my long cooking life such as using suger instead of salt, burnt my favorite pot cooking something unattended, and etc.

Pecan Crusted Chicken Salad
The idea was very good but should use eggs instead of creamy dressing otherwise, the peacan crust cmoes off very easily when baking.
