Really yummy! I skipped the cayenne since I have 2 smally kids but it was still so good. I also added a splash of soy sauce once I turned off the heat. I served over rice with FRESH basil on top. Its a keeper. Thanks!!!

Popped well but was not a WOW recipe. Not bad but not really wonderful either. Missing something but I don't really know what. Sorry

I didn't eat any of this (I don't eat meat) but my hubs and kids (8 1/2 & 3 1/2) really liked it a lot. They have asked me to make it again so it gets a 5. Very easy to make and wonderful of a cold winter night.

Chocolate Cornstarch Pudding

My 3 1/2 year old and I made this today and it is really yummy! We used special dark cocoa powder other then that we didn't change a thing. I will say it did take waaaay more then 10 min. to cook. Don't rush it. Low and slow, keep stirring and you will be happy. If it didn't thicken up for you my guess is you didn't cook it long enough. I will be making this again very soon

Made them tonight and they didn't last long! Our 3 year old had 2 of them. Very easy to make even for people like me that can't make bread to save his/her life.

Sweet Corn Cake

LOVED this! I will say I did have to change it just a bit just because I didn't have a few things called for. I was out of cornmeal but I just got some grits from the bulk food section a Whole foods. I put the 1/4 cup out grits in the food processor with the frozen corn to make in just a little more fine. Also, I didn't have/don't use heavy cream so I subbed with 2 TBLS whole milk and 1 TBLS sour cream. Even my 3 and 7 year olds loved it, and they don't like anything! A keeper for sure!

WOW! So very good!! I used Granny Smith apples. I was making them for a party but they never made it out of the kitche. My 7 year old son went nuts over them. I will be making more tomorrow for his lunchbox this week. I can tell this is going to make a lot.

Christmas Morning Oatmeal

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2007
I really wanted to like this but I just couldn't. I took one bite and my boyfriend wouldn't even try it. It was like a big pot full of thick hot cranberry juice. I put the whole batch in the blender and mixed about 3 TBS with plane oatmeal for our 8 month old. She loved it! If you ask her it would be a 5 star recipe. I put the rest in in ice cube trays and froze it. Now we have enough home made organic baby food to last us until next christmas. Also I didn't add the butter because I didn't think any of us needed that much fat. I will try again with a lot of changes.

Slow Cooker Mediterranean Stew

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2006
We just had this for dinner and it was yummy but only after I played a little. I would give the original recipe 4 stars. I did leave the raisins out just because I don't really like them. When I first tried it I liked it but was not in love. So I decided to put some goat cheese on top and bake it at 350 for a few min. just to get some color on the cheese and serve over brown rice. Definitly a keeper!
