Tri-Color Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2007
Great base recipe. I made this for a BBQ. I didn't have broccoli though. I added black olives, salad seasoning, diced cheddar cheese, and dressing.

Honey Pork Fillets

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2005
Good recipe. I didn't cut the pork chops open and I slowly cooked them on the stove-top rather than the barbecue. Tasted great and my husband loved them.

Mom's Great Green Beans

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2005
My husband and I love this recipe. We have had them many many times for dinner so far and they have been great and tasty. The second time I added Real Bacon Bits and it went very well with the recipe. Now we don't ever have regular green beans anymore and we've gotten so use to making the recipe that we make it without measuring anything. My husband made these for Thanksgivings and our guests also loved them. This recipe has become a regular in our house.

Baby Carrots with Dill Butter

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2006
Great recipe. I used frozen crinkle cut carrots and heated them in the microwave. I used dried dill weed and left out the lemon juice since I didn't have any. The carrots were delicous, even my vegetable picky husband liked them.

Grandpere dans le Sirop

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2005
Great recipe. I wanted to make something other than a usual dessert and this was perfect. Incredibly easy to make and great tasting. Next time, I will cut the baking powder in half though. I could taste the baking powder too much. Other than that, my husband and I loved this dessert. Tonight I reheated the leftovers in the microwave for 1 1/2 minutes and had it for dessert with vanilla ice cream on the side. I also sprinkled a little sugar over the Pudding Chomeur. My husband and I thought it was delicous. It's been about three days since I initially made this recipe and the leftover Pudding Chomeur was still great reheated! I will definetly make this again.

Wild Strawberry Treat

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2005
If there was a zero star rating, this recipe would receive it. I made the recipe exactly as stated and it did not turn out well. I tried adding more sugar and strawberry mix, but it didn't help at all. It was beyond gross tasting.

Best London Broil Ever!

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2010
I made this last night and it turned out fantastic. I used two organic grass-fed london broils. I used a can of organic whole tomatoes. I sliced the tomatoes into medium size chunks. I sprinkled on some garlic powder and pepper. Baked it for 3 hours at 350 degrees covered with aluminum foil. During the last five minutes on top of the london broil I sprinkled basil, pepper, and garlic powder. Covered it back up and cooked for the remaining five minutes. The london broil came out so tender and juicy. My husband loved it as well. On the side I made a Greek Green Beans recipe on this site and it matched up well with the london broil. I'll definitely make this again.

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2005
GREAT recipe! I took a couple suggestions from other reviews. I had a 2 pound roast, but I used the measurements for a 5 pound roast. I substituted a can of beef broth (1 1/2 cups) and added only 1 1/2 cups of water. Which totaled the 3 cups of liquid required with the recipe. I added two packets of Italian style dressing mix. I did not add the salt. I cooked the roast in the crockpot on high for 3 hours. Then I cut the roast into large chunks and cooked for another 1 hour. I then took the roast out and shredded it. I put the shredded roast back into the crockpot and cooked for another 30 minutes to get the flavoring throughout the roast. We had this on Gonnella French Italian Rolls. It tasted WONDERFUL. It also has a great smell that filled through the house as it was cooking. My husband also enjoyed this recipe and thought that it was delicious. Thank you for this great recipe!

Sopapilla Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2009
SO DELICIOUS! I just made this for dessert and it was very easy to make and one of my favorite desserts now. I whipped the cream cheese filling for a while so that it whipped up very nicely and made a lot of filling. I melted the butter and poured it over the top layer and then sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon. Baked for 40 minutes in the oven. So easy, yet so very delicious. My husband even said that it was amazing and he'd be surprised if I don't eat it all tonight and leave him without any more. :) We gave a bite to our 1 year old and she also loved it.

Kielbasa with Peppers and Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2006
Great recipe! The only thing I did different was I used olive oil instead of vegetable oil. I did sprinkle a little pepper/salt on it after it was done cooking. I made this last night for dinner and it turned out great. My husband and I ate all of it.

Mushroom Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2006
This is the best pork chop recipe I have made. My husband and I loved these pork chops. I made white rice to go along the side, which went great with the extra mushroom sauce. My husband even had this for lunch the next day.

Greek Green Beans

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2010
These are my new favorite way to have green beans. I didn't have fresh green beans so I used a can of organic french cut style green beans. I didn't add salt or sugar. Just seems odd to have sugar on green beans. I did sprinkle on some organic garlic powder. I cooked in the onions in the olive oil first, then added in the tomatoes as I diced them. I diced the tomato into small and medium sized pieces. After all the tomatoes were in, I added in the can of organic green beans. I drained all the water in the can before adding them in. Only took about five minutes after that and it was done. They turned out delicious. I'll definitely be making this recipe again.

Stuffed Mushrooms IV

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2005
I was planning on making these for Thanksgiving, but I was short on time, so I had my husband make them. He's still learning how to cook, so this recipe was good for him to do. These mushrooms turned out great and our guests thought they were tasty also. I'll be keeping this recipe.

Steak N Gravy

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2005
I used sirlion steaks instead of venison steaks and I didn't have any beef gravy, so I used white cooking wine. I also left out the milk. The recipe turned out great. I also cut the flour mixture in half and I still had a lot of mixture left over. Overall, my husband and I thought this was a great recipe.

Marinated Mushrooms II

I was really hoping to like these, but I didn't and neither did my husband. Too vinegary tasting. I think next time I'll cut back on the vinegar and try adding more herbs.

Shredded French Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2008
Excellent! I put this in the crock pot around 9am this morning and we had dinner at 5pm. The roast was so tender and it tasted fantastic. I added some oregano and garlic powder. I didn't add the beef bouillon. I also toasted the rolls in the oven for a few minutes. My husband thought this recipe was great also.
