Great Recipe. I boiled them for 1 hour and baked them for 1 1/2 hours. I'll be keeping this recipe.

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2005
Great Chili! Very easy to make. I also made extra so that it could be frozen and reheated easily. It's just as great when defrosted and reheated.

Stuffed Mushrooms IV

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2005
I was planning on making these for Thanksgiving, but I was short on time, so I had my husband make them. He's still learning how to cook, so this recipe was good for him to do. These mushrooms turned out great and our guests thought they were tasty also. I'll be keeping this recipe.

French Beef Stew

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2005
Pretty good stew. I added a few things to the recipe. In the flour mixture; I added Basil, Bay Leaves, Thyme, and Rosemary. I also let the meat simmer on low-heat for 30 minutes after it had browned. I did not add any juice from the canned diced tomatoes. I added 1/2 of the beef broth and added 1/2 cup of White Wine. I also added fresh mushrooms, finely chopped fresh garlic, and half a small onion. I changed the servings to 7, but it only fed 2 servings with a little leftover for my husband to take to lunch tomorrow. We ate this with garlic bread and the combination of the two made for a delicous dinner. I will make this recipe again. Next time I'll increase the servings so that we have more leftover.

Grandpere dans le Sirop

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2005
Great recipe. I wanted to make something other than a usual dessert and this was perfect. Incredibly easy to make and great tasting. Next time, I will cut the baking powder in half though. I could taste the baking powder too much. Other than that, my husband and I loved this dessert. Tonight I reheated the leftovers in the microwave for 1 1/2 minutes and had it for dessert with vanilla ice cream on the side. I also sprinkled a little sugar over the Pudding Chomeur. My husband and I thought it was delicous. It's been about three days since I initially made this recipe and the leftover Pudding Chomeur was still great reheated! I will definetly make this again.

Steak N Gravy

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2005
I used sirlion steaks instead of venison steaks and I didn't have any beef gravy, so I used white cooking wine. I also left out the milk. The recipe turned out great. I also cut the flour mixture in half and I still had a lot of mixture left over. Overall, my husband and I thought this was a great recipe.

Honey Pork Fillets

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2005
Good recipe. I didn't cut the pork chops open and I slowly cooked them on the stove-top rather than the barbecue. Tasted great and my husband loved them.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2005
An okay recipe. My husband liked the taste, but I didn't really care for it that much. Besides the garlic taste, they were kind of bland and felt like something was missing. Maybe if I make these again I'll try adding sour cream to the recipe.

Vivian's Delight

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2005
An okay recipe. Very sweet and has a weird texture to it. My husband hated the recipe though and would not eat more than two bites of it.

Twelve Minute Pasta Toss

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2005
Great recipe! My husband wanted to make dinner on his own last night (he doesn't have much experience with cooking) and he picked this recipe to make. It turned out delicious! Next time we'll add a little more olive oil to it, but other than that, we loved this recipe.

Baked Pineapple

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2005
This recipe looks "weird" at first, but my husband LOVED it. We had it as a desert instead of a side-dish, and my husband finished his and mine. Great unique recipe!

Great recipe. Next time though, I will make a smaller portion for my husband and I. We had so much left over.

Mom's Great Green Beans

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2005
My husband and I love this recipe. We have had them many many times for dinner so far and they have been great and tasty. The second time I added Real Bacon Bits and it went very well with the recipe. Now we don't ever have regular green beans anymore and we've gotten so use to making the recipe that we make it without measuring anything. My husband made these for Thanksgivings and our guests also loved them. This recipe has become a regular in our house.

Wild Strawberry Treat

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2005
If there was a zero star rating, this recipe would receive it. I made the recipe exactly as stated and it did not turn out well. I tried adding more sugar and strawberry mix, but it didn't help at all. It was beyond gross tasting.

Island Kielbasa in a Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2005
Great recipe, but for one small glich in it. Way too much brown sugar. The large amount of sugar ruins the entire meal and makes it extremely sweet. I will definetly make this recipe again, but next time I will only use 1/2 cup of brown sugar.
