Greek Green Beans

These are my new favorite way to have green beans. I didn't have fresh green beans so I used a can of organic french cut style green beans. I didn't add salt or sugar. Just seems odd to have sugar on green beans. I did sprinkle on some organic garlic powder. I cooked in the onions in the olive oil first, then added in the tomatoes as I diced them. I diced the tomato into small and medium sized pieces. After all the tomatoes were in, I added in the can of organic green beans. I drained all the water in the can before adding them in. Only took about five minutes after that and it was done. They turned out delicious. I'll definitely be making this recipe again.

Best London Broil Ever!

I made this last night and it turned out fantastic. I used two organic grass-fed london broils. I used a can of organic whole tomatoes. I sliced the tomatoes into medium size chunks. I sprinkled on some garlic powder and pepper. Baked it for 3 hours at 350 degrees covered with aluminum foil. During the last five minutes on top of the london broil I sprinkled basil, pepper, and garlic powder. Covered it back up and cooked for the remaining five minutes. The london broil came out so tender and juicy. My husband loved it as well. On the side I made a Greek Green Beans recipe on this site and it matched up well with the london broil. I'll definitely make this again.

Marinated Mushrooms II

I was really hoping to like these, but I didn't and neither did my husband. Too vinegary tasting. I think next time I'll cut back on the vinegar and try adding more herbs.

Sopapilla Cheesecake

SO DELICIOUS! I just made this for dessert and it was very easy to make and one of my favorite desserts now. I whipped the cream cheese filling for a while so that it whipped up very nicely and made a lot of filling. I melted the butter and poured it over the top layer and then sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon. Baked for 40 minutes in the oven. So easy, yet so very delicious. My husband even said that it was amazing and he'd be surprised if I don't eat it all tonight and leave him without any more. :) We gave a bite to our 1 year old and she also loved it.

Shredded French Dip

Excellent! I put this in the crock pot around 9am this morning and we had dinner at 5pm. The roast was so tender and it tasted fantastic. I added some oregano and garlic powder. I didn't add the beef bouillon. I also toasted the rolls in the oven for a few minutes. My husband thought this recipe was great also.

Carne Guisada III

This was delicious. I've been trying to cook more Puerto Rican meals for my husband since that is what he grew up with as a child. I used homemade sofrito sauce that I already had made. I didn't have potatoes so I could not add those, but it still turned out great. I browned the meat before adding it to the sauce mixture. The meat turned out so tender. I saved some for lunch tomorrow.

Honey Baked Chicken II

Tasted great. I ran out of honey so I didn't use as much as the recipe stated. I also didn't have curry powder. Though, this tasted great and my husband thought it was delicous also.

Tri-Color Pasta Salad

Brown Sugar Chops

Great pork chops! I melted the butter, then I poured it over the pork chops, then sprinkled brown sugar on top of the pork chops. I just realized that I forgot to add the soy sauce. I didn't even realize it. The pork chops turned out really moist and declious. I get tired of the same old ketchup or barbecue sauces over pork chops, so this was a nice change. My husband loved the pork chops also. I will be keeping this recipe for future pork chop dinners. Thank you!

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

This was SO GOOD. My husband took one bite of the pork chops and said that I have to remember this recipe. The pork chops were very tender and the flavor was delicious. I only wish I had made more pork chops! This will be my new pork chop recipe. I substituted olive oil for the vegetable oil and I grinded some black pepper onto the pork chops before adding the marinade. I also doubled the marinade and poured it on top of white rice.

Mushroom Pork Chops

This is the best pork chop recipe I have made. My husband and I loved these pork chops. I made white rice to go along the side, which went great with the extra mushroom sauce. My husband even had this for lunch the next day.

Kielbasa with Peppers and Potatoes

Great recipe! The only thing I did different was I used olive oil instead of vegetable oil. I did sprinkle a little pepper/salt on it after it was done cooking. I made this last night for dinner and it turned out great. My husband and I ate all of it.

Baby Carrots with Dill Butter

Great recipe. I used frozen crinkle cut carrots and heated them in the microwave. I used dried dill weed and left out the lemon juice since I didn't have any. The carrots were delicous, even my vegetable picky husband liked them.

Roasted New Red Potatoes

This is my new favorite way to make potatoes. I didn't have any olive oil, so I used melted butter. I also added a dash of parsley and garlic powder, with the salt/pepper. These were fantastic!

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

GREAT recipe! I took a couple suggestions from other reviews. I had a 2 pound roast, but I used the measurements for a 5 pound roast. I substituted a can of beef broth (1 1/2 cups) and added only 1 1/2 cups of water. Which totaled the 3 cups of liquid required with the recipe. I added two packets of Italian style dressing mix. I did not add the salt. I cooked the roast in the crockpot on high for 3 hours. Then I cut the roast into large chunks and cooked for another 1 hour. I then took the roast out and shredded it. I put the shredded roast back into the crockpot and cooked for another 30 minutes to get the flavoring throughout the roast. We had this on Gonnella French Italian Rolls. It tasted WONDERFUL. It also has a great smell that filled through the house as it was cooking. My husband also enjoyed this recipe and thought that it was delicious. Thank you for this great recipe!
