Potato Skillet
Replaced garlic salt w/garlic powder. The lid melting the cheese also softened the crisp crumbled bacon. Next time I will add the crisp bacon after the cheese has been melted and the lid has been removed.

Grilled Gyro Burgers
Ranch dressing mix was overwhelming. Made another batch of cucumber sauce and added minced garlic. Did not make the ground beef into patties. Had no pita bread. Placed the filling in bowls including the lettuce and cucumber sauce. This recipe will be deleted from my recipe box. I am happy for those who found your recipe delightful. Thank you.

Jamie's Black Beans and Rice
Pretty good and no meat needed to make this tasty dish. Instead of frozen grn peppers & onions, I substitued: 1 large green pepper, diced 1 large onion, diced. The recipe came out too wet, so at the end of cooking I added: 1 1/2 Tablespoons corn starch to 2 Tablespoons water and simmered a few minutes until thickened. The taste was enjoyably hot probably because I used a brand of black beans that had marked "with creole seasoning".
