Cabbage Jambalaya

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2012
Very yummy! I couldn't believe my youngest picky eater enjoyed it. Only addition I made was added a beef boulion cube. The reason for the 4 stars is that to my personal serving I added jambalya seasoning and hot sauce and my son wasn't thrilled with it... but he ate it all. ;) Will definitely make again. Thanks.

Sweet Kielbasa

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2012
This is really good. However, since I made some adjustments I gave it 4 stars. I added brown sugar (2 Tbs). Also, my sauce did not thicken after being in the oven for so long. I separated the sauce from the kielbasa and added a cornstarch thickening and placed it on the burner. I would suggest doing it on the stove top from the beginning. (I personally added hot sauce in mine after I served the kids)

Pork Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2009
This was GREAT! The changes I made was, elbow noodles, I didn't have green peppers on hand BUT I had a jar of roasted red peppers. So, I used those. I used Veleeta in the dish but put shredded Cheddar on top and broiled for a minute. YUM. And, thank you!

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2009
This was so good. Mine did not turn out sticky by any means... but that was okay. I did add some corn starch/water mix to the sauce and got it to the desired consistancy and then added it to the chicken. I also just used 1 T of Hot Sauce since I have little children. I just added more to my dish later. Overall, I will definitely be using this one again. Thanks!

Peach Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2008
This was the best pie. I never made a peach pie before and this was so easy and set up perfectly!! I took the advise of CBAMOM and made the same changes. (That's what I gave it a 4 rating) And, let me tell you what, the boiling the peaches for a minute was time and peach saving. I the first few peaches without boiling them first and barely had a peach to use. I left the pie sit in the cooling oven... I actually made my at night and left it sit all night then refridgerated it in the morning. It was BEAUTIFUL!! Thank you so much for a wonderful recipe and to the reviewers for all their wonderful tips.

These are fantastic!! I did make one minor change. I used one package of 10oz. chocolate chips (1 2/3C.) and 1/3 C of Mint Chocolate chips. It was GREAT! Then instead of the thin mints I topped with three or four mint chocolate chips. So Good! Thanks.

Kathy's Delicious Whole Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2006
This is not bad... but not worth skinning a chicken. There may be an easy way of doing it... and I don't know how. I cooked mine 4lb chicken 2 hrs on high and 2 on low and it could have went longer. The sauce was delicious thougha and made a wonderful gray for over rice or noodles.

Blueberry Coffee Cake I

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2006
I thought this was just OK. I did as other suggested and put the topping in the pan first so it's on top. Also, it needed more blueberries. I've never made coffee cake before but mine was pretty dry as well.

No Bakes

Reviewed: May 15, 2006
I Really loved this recipe. I used margarine instead of butter... I don't know if that makes a difference or not. Now, I on the other hand love my no bakes a little gooey/soft. I let them set out for a little while. This is one of my husbands favorites.

Daddy's Fried Corn and Onions

Reviewed: May 3, 2006
Excellent! This was so good. I used a bag of frozen corn and wasn't sure how sweet it was going to be so I added a Tbs of sugar. Fabulous! I will always do my corn this way for now on.

Roast Pork with Maple and Mustard Glaze

Reviewed: May 3, 2006
This is good and the flavor was GREAT. Next time I will double the sauce and make into gravy as others suggested. I did mine in the crock pot on low for 8 hrs as some others suggested and I think mine was way over done. Seemed a little dry. I just put the sauce over it and that helped. Will try again but not in the crock pot.

I made this for 3 of us and even the leftovers were great. I added some pepper and a little more salt to my plate. When I heated my leftovers I added old bay and that was really good as well. Great recipe... thanks.

Crab-Stuffed Filet Mignon with Whiskey Peppercorn Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2006
Very Yummy! I wouldn't omit crab stuffing! The crab gave it a nice sweet taste while the sauce was just perfect - which I double because of other reviews saying is was so good... and they were right. You can use this with any type of boneless steak. What a wonderful birthday dinner for my husband who is a HUGE steak fan. Thanks!

Very Good. I did not need an entire jar of sauce and I did have to cook them a little longer. I used 1 lb and it made 13 nice meatballs. They turned out very flavorful and very moist. Will deffinitely make again!! Thanks.

Purple Monstrosity Fruit Smoothie

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2006
This was wonderful! However, I used mixed fruit instead of just blueberries. What a GREAT healthy way to satisfy a sweet craving. I also threw in a little crushed ice as well.
