About this Cook
Like everyone on this site, I love to cook, cook, cook!!!
My favorite things to cook
My friends and family love my cooking. They get excited for holidays or parties that I host just to see what new recipes I will come up with!
My cooking triumphs
I get a lot of compliments on my food, but really, I just know a good recipe when I see it.
My cooking tragedies
Baking, love to cook, hate to bake. No patience for measuring.

Garlic Anchovy Linguine
Very tasty dish. We ALL loved it. I substituted 1/2 cup white wine and 1/2 cup chicken broth. I also recommend not covering while cooking because it came out very runny. Once it sat for a while, the juices got absorbed and it was much better than our first helping. And last, if you don't like anchovies, don't worry, they totally disappear with all the cooking. But they leave a wonderful taste.

Seven Layer Taco Dip
Wonderful dip! DRAIN the juice from the salsa or it will get watered down. I did not use lettuce. Everyone loved it!

Breaded Brussels Sprouts
These were just okay. We love the shredded brussels sprouts recipe on this site much better. To make this recipe better, I would cut the sprouts in half or more so that the ingredients blend more and would mask the bitter taste of the sprouts.
