Juiciest Hamburgers Ever

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2011
Made these last night. 100% hand down one of the best home made burgers I've had. Didn't have any cayenne pepper to add, but will have some ready for next time. Highly recommend.

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2009
I was looking for a quick and easy way to make some salmon and found this recipe. Due to lack of time and lack of ingredients, I ended up having to eliminate the soy sauce (and am SO glad I did!!). I put the salmon in a baking pan, poured the marinade over it and broiled it for approximately 10 minutes. Came out perfect! Will definitely make again!

Chicken Pot Pie II

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2008
Maybe I am just not a pot pie type of girl, but I thought it was super bland. My husband said it tasted like paper! I will probably try it again (may wait a while though) and see how I can jazz it up with some flavor. Definitely has potential, but I need something with a bit more taste...

Tortellini Soup I

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2008
Absolutely loved it!! Very easy to make (a lot of chopping, but that's OK) and extremely tasty. I used a mild italian sausage b/c I feel it has enough kick to it than the medium. Otherwise, I followed the recipe exactly. My husband really liked it. Definitely a keeper from here on out!

No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2007
Overall, I liked the No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars. No question that they are super easy to make...th challenge I ran into is that my husband did not like them. Normally, any dessert that I make (typically cookies), is gone within a day or so...not with this one. I would consider making them again for a get together...or just to take to work.

Chicken Enchiladas I

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2006
I really liked this recipe and so did my fiancee!! I used green chili's instead of green pepper and enchilada sauce instead of taco sauce. I also didn't include the tomato sauce--not sure if it would've made a difference or not. I think the longest part was cooking the chicken. Highly recommend!

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2006
Delicious!! I took up some of the other recommendations and used 1 can of cream of chicken and 1 can of chicken broth. My fiancee commented right away how great the soup was and went back for seconds!

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2006
This is a great meal--and one that is SUPER easy! My future mother and sister-in-law came into town and got home before I did. The house smelled so good and they couldn't wait to test the soup. It was a huge hit! Can't wait to make it again!

Awesome Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2006
YUM! YUM! YUM!!!! What a fantastic recipe!! I followed some of the other suggestions and only used 3/4 c. oil and 1/4 c. of apple sauce. I think I used 5 carrots (just ran them through the food processor) and eliminated the walnuts and pineapple (not fans of either). It came out delicious!!! I can't wait to make this for a crowd!

Easy Paella

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2006
I loved it! I ended up not doing the rice like the recipe called for, but instead cooked yellow rice. Also, for the chicken/sausage mixture, I added in a clove of fresh garlic, carrot (I didn't have any bell pepper), a bay leaf and the crushed red pepper (instead of adding it into the rice mixture). It gave the meat a wonderful flavor! My fiancee seemed to enjoy it as well--definitely a keeper and will make again! Thanks for sharing!

Spinach Tomato Tortellini

Delicious! LOVED IT! I don't think I did anything different than the recipe specified. Definitely a very easy after-work meal to cook. Served with broccoli and salad.

My Country Style Steak

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2005
I enjoyed this recipe, but I accidentally overcooked it (not one to cook any sort of red meat). If it hadn't been so tough, I think it would've been excellent. Will definitely try again. Also, I also only used 1/2 of the onion soup pkg and a little garlic powder (no salt and pepper). Served with mashed potatoes and green beans
