Best Brownies

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2009
Just an update: after the designated cooking time was up, I turned off the oven and left them in there for about 5 mins to set before taking them out... this solved the gooey middle and "is it ready or not yet" dilemma.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2009
Utterly Amazing!!! & SO EASY to make and prepare! I made the first batch in the morning, by noon it vanished! I made another one for guests later the same day and they LOVED it! Even my picky 2 year old devoured it! I did go by other's recommendations by adding half white sugar half brown sugar, I also increased the amount of cinnamon (personal preference) and added a splash of ground nutmeg which gave it a great flavor! I must add that I had to grate the zucchini very finely to make it "disappear" but the results were fantastic! Thank you for sharing! A KEEPER for sure!!!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2009
I have a question; can I freeze this pie? This is the first pie I've ever made and it was amazing, I've made it 3 times in 1 week, so im wondering if I want to freeze it, should I do so unbaked or half bake it before freezing?

Basic Flaky Pie Crust

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2009
Unbelievable!!!!! I've never made a pie before and this crust was simpley divine!! I made Apple Pie by Grandma Ople from this site with this pie crust (as recommended by someone) WOW! But I recommend you triple the quantity of dough to make the top of the pie as well. The original recipe barely covered my 9 inch baking dish! Wonderful!!!

Autumn Cheesecake

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2006
If I could give this a zero I would, the cheese cake went flat, even though it cooked it for 65 mins and followed the instructions exactly. If I left it in a few minutes more it would have burned! I thought with all the great reviews it'd be amazing... I'll probably give it one more try, but I’m not sure it will make a difference.

Excellent recipe, though I did add a tiny bit more milk to it coz the mix came out a bit stiff, but otherwise wonderful.

Baked Macaroni and Cheese I

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2005
This is a really good recipe…it turned out perfect except that when I served it (right from the oven) 5 minutes later it dried up and became a bit stiff… needs a bit of tweaking but otherwise a great success…I found the qty too little so I doubled the entire recipe and was perfect for two... a keeper. Thanks!

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2005
This is a great recipe, but the chicken came out a bit dry... it needs more sauce I think, personal preference to be juicy, even though I doubled the quantity, so I'll be tripling that next time! Leave some sauce to lightly cover after baking before serving! A Keeper

Crab Salad III

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2005
AMAZING! I didn’t have radish, celery, olives or dill weed and it STILL turned out great, so you can improvise if you don’t have everything at hand! As others said it was a great hit, and I'll definitely be doubling quantity next time! I halved the amount of onions though

Fettuccine Alfredo V

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2005
quite good though I used fresh fettuccini pasta instead(less cooking time, about 3 mins) but there was too much garlic, one or two cloves are more than enough, also, next time i will leave out the egg yolk, and lessen the butter content. but overall good results
