Reese's® Peanut Butter and Milk Chocolate Chip Brownie Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2002
These brownies were outstanding. I couldn't find the new two-chips-in-one bag yet, but I had peanut butter and milk chocolate chips on hand, so mixed the bags and used about 3/4 of the new mixture. These brownies are incredibly rich -- be sure to have a glass of milk nearby! The brownie and creamy PB mixture wants to come apart; perhaps I should have 'scored' the top of the brownie before I spread the second layer on top. Regardless, we all enjoyed these!

Bourbon Sausage

Simple and delicious! I often make these in a slow cooker with just teriyaki sauce. However, I was curious if there were other Lil' Smokie lovers and there and wouldn't you know it?!?! Yet another great recipe with them that's simple, tasty... SIMPLY TASTY!

Double Chocolate and Spice Bread Pudding

This is an incredibly good recipe. I'd recommend going light on the cinnamon drizzle on top, but altogether, it's SO good! There are a lot of steps involved, but it's worth it! Delicious!

Basic Margarita

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2001
This truly is a basic margarita, but boy is it good! It's very lime-y, but that's certainly not a bad thing! Add a little less - or a little more! - to taste. We enjoyed this recipe at a staff function - at work, I know! It was a big hit and everyone gave the bartenders tons of compliments. Chips and salsa are the perfect starter with this, of course!

This reminds me of my youth. My mom used to try all kinds of things in the kitchen and this totally reminds me of our our afternoon snacks - try them out! Such fun!

ABC (Absolute Best Chewy) Chocolate Chippers

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2001
A coworker brought these to work today. I feel like the title is a bit of a misnomer as I don't feel they're the best ever. Maybe she forgot to shake off her hands exactly ten times? They were dry cookies, not necessarily chewy. And, in my opinion, a few too many nuts. Don't get me wrong though - a cookie is a cookie and I'd never turn one down!

Ham and Cheese Quiche

This was a wonderful recipe. I prepared it with the Cinnamon Chip Applesauce Coffeecake and we enjoyed a wonderful brunch this weekend. This was a simple recipe and it turned out wonderfully! Definitely a no worry quiche! So easy! So good!

Cinnamon Chip Applesauce Coffeecake

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2001
OH DEAR! This was a GREAT recipe! I couldn't find Cinnamon Chips in my local supermarket, so I used Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chips instead. I can't wait to try it with Cinnamon! This was wonderful! It was light and tasty. I highly recommend it to warm up any morning! I've now tried it with the Cinnamon Chips and really thought that the Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chips were a better combination, for me personally. With Cinnamon chips, it tasted like a true coffeecake. With PB & Chocolate Chips, it tasted sinfully wonderful!

Mini Kisses Blondies

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2000
This recipe wasn't as bad as the original review, although it definitely lacks something. I tried it because I thought since it was from Hershey's it might be good. Plus, my kids liked the sound of it. There is baking powder listed in the ingredients and in the directions. I can only imagine baking SODA making a mess of a recipe. There is nothing sweet about these brownies and they're very dry. I won't make them again, but if you are looking for light and not so sweet, this might be the recipe for you.

Such a wonderful and light pound cake. It truly is as moist and buttery as they claim! Great recipe!
