Toasted Pumpkin Seeds

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2009
Awesome! I, like another post, usually make them with butter & salt. This was a LOVELY difference. I too will use this recipe in lieu of the traditional. I took another comment and added a tsp of garlic powder. Thanks!

Busy Mom Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2009
Excellent!! Not too sweet but i used lite peaches sliced. I did add a little extra cinnamon as some posting stated. I'm also a lover of cinnamon. I also only used 1 TBSP of Sugar ontop and thought it was fantastic!! Thanks Busy Mom!!

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2009
Excellent! I didn't use the slow cooker because i didn't have time, but i'm sure it would be great. I cooked everything with bone in chicken instead of already cooked chicken. Shredded the chicken after about 3 hours then added it back in. I didn't add any chili powder because of a few sensitive guests but i will add next time. It was definitely better the next day. it was really very tasty and will make again in the crock pot this time! Thank you.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2008
i added onions layered on the bottom and on top - a personal preference. I seared the meat for a few minutes before placing in the slow cooker. i added vegetables 2 hours before it was done. Next time i will add potatoes at the beginning and carrots 2 hrs towards the end. Excellent and will definitely make again. An easy staple!!

Sausage 'n' Spinach Eggs

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2008
Refreshingly different! I like eggs for breakfast but they get boring and i tend to get stuck using the same spices. I tried this! Fabulous! I used regular sausage because that's what i had but added more hot sauce to compensate. Have already made again.

These were a hit! Baking them they were still crispy and slightly healthier:). I added tabasco for hotter wings. The juice stuck to the wings thanks to TX Chef recommendations. Will make them again!!

Crunchy Peanut Butter Balls

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2008
Completely addicting! I only dipped half of the ball because i'm not very good at dipping desert type items -- they always come out so ugly looking. Just as good. The marshmallow creme makes the peanut butter flavor lighter and creamier. Must keep them in the refrigerator or they fall apart. Will add to my holiday arsenal this year.

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2008
FABULOUS! Took some recommendations: added a dash of rice vinegar to the marinade. Added pineapple to the skewer. Marinaded the chicken with the onion only for a few hours. Delish. Will make again and marinade for longer. Served it with wild rice.

Ham and Cheese Puffs

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2008
Excellent and quick! I had left over ham and was looking for something to do with it. I avoided going to the store with a few substitutions. Shallots instead of onion, Colby Jack & Monterey shredded cheese, and dab of cream cheese, just cuz i like it:). Very Tasty and next time i'll make the actual recipe. Although i might keep the shallots:) Thank you!
