Bacon Cheese Treats

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2005
Not bad. My guests really liked these, but I agree that the recipe, as is, calls for far too much bacon. I would probably cut the bacon amount in half next time.

Baked Soy Lemon Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2005
This was a big hit with my son and his friends. These were actually dubbed, "The Best Pork Chops EVER" by a couple of his friends. Very tasty and easy to make. Also low in calories/high in flavor.

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2005
This was the very first time I ever tried to make fudge and talk about well received! Every person who has tried this has said it's the best fudge they've ever had! I substituted dark chocolate chips for the semi-sweet chips and it turned out WONDERFUL! I didn't have any vanilla extract on hand, but it is marvelous just the same. Thank you SO MUCH for such a wonderful recipe!

Bacon Wrapped Smokies

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2006
I made these for a weekly get together with friends and was requested, nay DEMANDED to make these two days later for another party. WONDERFUL, EASY appetizer! TIPS: Definately use foil on your pans when baking. Cook for first 25 minutes at 325 and the last 15 minutes at 350. Use center cut, thin sliced bacon and cut in half. Less fat and no need for toothpicks. Also if putting in a slow cooker to keep warm, pour a half a cup (or so) of maple syrup in the cooker to help keep them moist. EXCELLENT RECIPE!!!

Crostini

What a wonderful appetizer! My guests said it was "sinful" and I'd have to agree! It has a very decadent flavor. It would also work very well as an accompaniment bread to any Italian dinner.

Creamy Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2006
I made this for my son and about 5 of his teenage friends. They all LOVED it. I should've made TWO pans. A couple said they liked it better than regular ground beef lasagna. I did double the amount of the chicken mixture and it was perfect. I recommend this recipe.

Fourth of July Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2006
Outstanding recipe! This was the first time I ever tried to make potato salad and talk about a HIT! EVERYONE loved it. I made enough for 12 people and it was the only thing that was gone within the first hour! I got rave reviews. Thanks for the GREAT recipe! EDIT (07/04/08): Once again, this potato salad recipe was the hit of the bar-b-que. I actually had people offer to BUY the recipe from me. When I told them that this recipe has gotten some 1-star reviews, everyone agreed that the person must have made it wrong because this was the best potato salad recipe ever. All thirty-five people at my party said so. So I say, give it a try!

Sorry- I don't like to give bad reviews, but I followed this recipe to a "T" and you have to REALLY like the flavor of blue cheese to enjoy this burger. Sorry.

Albondigas

Very nice recipe. My husband loves it and can't stop complimenting me on it. The only change I made was adding one more potato to the recipe for a total of three. I also used a mild salsa and it turned out perfectly! Thanks!

Very nice sweet/lemon-y flavor. These are very tasty. A little bit time consuming, but still very good. Would also double well as a main dish with fried rice.

Ginger Meatballs

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2007
These were very good. I asked my guests what they would rate these out of 5 stars and they said (while talking through full mouths) 4-1/2!!! So I'm rounding it up and giving it a 5 star rating. Very easy to make and very tasty. A nice change from the standard grape jam and chili sauce sauce. Give this one a try!
