Yummy Candied Yams

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2005
This turned out great! I followed some other reviewers' advice and added cinnamon and nutmeg. I also changed it to 1 cup white sugar and 1 cup brown sugar and put marshmallows on top at the end. Everyone loved it!

A Nice Slow-Cooked Pork

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2006
This was just great! I didn't have any onions, so used dried minced onion. Didn't have any rosemary so I used Italian seasoning. Also, cooked it in the pressure cooker. Just wonderful.

Sandy's Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2008
This was SO good! Moist and chocolatey. I think I'll half the frosting next time though. I didn't use it all and it still was too much.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2008
Very good! But I think I'll use less cider vinegar next time..it was pretty potent. This gets better the next day, too.

Key Lime Pie VII

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2008
Delicious! I used 2 cans of condensed milk and instead of sour cream used vanilla yogurt. I also used Grandma's Secret Pie Crust recipe for the crust instead of a graham cracker which I didn't have. Didn't have any zest, but I don't think it needed it.

Apple Butter Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2008
Tasted great! I didn't make the glaze and I don't feel it needs it. They are very crumbly though, so next time I'll try a longer baking time and hopefully that'll do the trick. Goes great with a cold glass of milk!

Honey-Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2008
Really good and super easy to make. I don't have shortening, so I used 1/4 cup of canola oil and then added 2 more tablespoons after that because it looked like it needed more moisture. I baked them on my silicone cookie sheet. They came out chewy and tasty, not super sweet. A keeper!

Gobble Up Granola Snacks

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2009
Mmmm, very tasty! I don't like using corn syrup because of the high fructose in it, so I used agave nectar instead. I did have a bit of a crumbly problem but not too bad. I think next time I will use more peanut butter to help them stick together more and to get more PB taste. I think I'll also add ground flaxseed next time for extra health. I love how easy this was to put together, too, and no baking. Thanks Tinamaries!
