Chili I

I wish I could give this 10 stars! This is awesome and people are always surprised to hear the ingredients. It is a really great idea to use real steak in the chili too. I fix this up, spoon into my big crock pot dish, let it chill in the fridge overnight and serve at an annual fall chili get-together the next day - perfect for allowing me to enjoy myself at the party instead of slaving away in the kitchen all day!

German Spaetzle Dumplings

Good recipe but I found it difficult to find the right tool for pushing the dough through. I ended up using a potato masher since I like thicker dumplings.

Hot German Potato Salad III

Amazing, absolutely delicious. My grandmother (my Oma) is from Germany and this tastes very similar to her potato salad which I never thought I would be able to reproduce. This would make an excellent side to a German main course like Rouladen or Weinerschnitzel.

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers

Pretty good - kind of dry but that may be because I baked them. They were very good when you spooned on lots of salsa and sour cream though.

Tasty and very easy! I also added Garlic & Peppercorn seasoning (from Pampered Chef)... OMG delicious! Everyone should eat more salmon!

Best Ever Pie Crust

Perfect for all sorts of pies. Pie crust is not as easy as it sounds though - if you are a novice then I recommend reading the All Recipes pie crust article. I chill everything beforehand, all the ingredients and the tools (bowl, spoon, blender) and also always use a crust shield or tin foil around the edges while baking the pie.

Raspberry White Chocolate Mousse

Delicious! Make sure the chocolate is completely smooth though or you will have a lumpy mess... that lesson I learned the second time I made this recipe and tried to hurry.

Candy Cane Fudge

I thought it was too sweet but the two people I gave it to loved it! Very easy as far as fudge goes. Pretty hard to mess it up and very festive looking!

Parmesan Chicken II

I used thighs instead of drumsticks and cooked it in the Pampered Chef deep covered baker... succulent! And it smelled great cooking. It was very easy which is also a huge plus! I think next time I will use drumsticks though.

Yummy Yam Casserole

I make this for fall potlucks and at every Thanksgiving. It never fails -- someone always asks me for the recipe and EVERYONE loves it! I used to be a sweet potato-hater before this recipe but now I crave them!

Spicy Mango Sweet Potato Chicken

Delicious! This recipe was very flavorful and relatively easy to make. The only changes I made (completely based on personal preference, not because it needed something) were to add walnuts to the finished dish and also to pour some honey over the top of it when it's done -- that way you can really taste the sweet and spicy together!

Irresistible Pecan Pie

I just finished making this pie for my third Thanksgiving in a row. It's great! I also add cinnamon (but I swear I though of that on my own! I guess it's a no brainer...) and I use the "Best Flaky Pie Crust" recipe with it.
