About this Cook
My three favorite things to do are play volleyball, cook and bake, and hang out with my friends. My favorite thing to watch on TV is Friends or Everybody Loves Raymond reruns, and my 2 favorite movies are 13 Going on 30 and You've Got Mail. When I'm not spiking, baking, or doing one of the two with my friends I help out with my local animal rescue league. That's pretty much all there is to me!
My favorite things to cook
My favorite things to cook...I have to be honest and say I don't cook that much. I bake lots of cookies and fun things like that, and I make breakfast food, like pancakes and eggs. Other than that, I can do spaghetti, lasagna, grilled cheese, macaroni, easy stuff. I'm still a beginner but I learn new stuff all the time. My all time favorite thing to make is my neighbor's recipe for French toast. It's delicious.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We always make Kraft's Un-fried French Fries at least once a week. We make a whole bunch at once, cut up 10 or 20 potatoes and bake them, and then fridge and reheat them later in the week. Everyone loves them!
My cooking triumphs
Hmmm......I don't know if I have any triumphs. I've had a lot of things go well, and a lot of things go not so well. But nothing horrendously bad or amazingly good. Not yet. ;o)
My cooking tragedies
I made some baby cheesecakes for a party once, and it called for cherry pie filling on top, but I tried blackberry instead, and for some reason I just didn't think it came out that well. It's not too tragic, but when something explodes I'll update this.

English Royalty Chocolate Chip Scones
AWESOME! Needed something "old English" for a school project and these were a hit. Wasn't much of a scone fan before, but I will definitely be making these again! Only thing I found was that I needed a teensy bit more orange juice than it said to make it doughy enough to roll out, but it wasn't a big deal. Thanks for this great recipe!

Delicious Healthy Strawberry Shake
It took some tweaking but this eventually turned out awesome. I don't like honey, and after reading other reviews I decided not to use it, and put in extra vanilla instead. I can't stand yogurt, and so finding a healthy smoothie with real fruit that tastes good is an accomplishment within itself. I agree with the others it did need a little sweetening, but this was a great recipe to find. Thanks!

Whole-Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies
Okay, omitted half the chocolate chips and the walnuts. Egg substitute for the eggs. 1/2 cup applesauce for 1/2 cup margarine. Yummy!!!!! Sort of crispy and chewy at the same time. I like these a lot!
