Crunchy Date Rounds

I wanted to try to make a cookie using the dates I had and I happened to have frosted flakes, too. I thought the cookies were great. I'm not a big fan of dates either, but the cereal really gave the cookie a sweet crunchy texture, and the cookies were chewy on the inside, just the way I like it.

Monster Cookies VI

I almost didn't make these because there wasn't any flour, but the good reviews swayed me. I'm glad I did because these are unique and delicious. I followed the recipe almost exactly except I added a little more corn syrup for an even sweeter taste. the ice cream scoop is not necessary. the dough is too sticky for it to work anyway.

Chocolate Frosting I

I'm glad I didn't add the amount of sugar the recipe called for. I only used two cups and it was still very very sweet. I added more cocoa powder, and I used 3/4 cup of butter like other reviewers suggested. the frosting turned out okay. it wasn't great but it wasn't terrible either. next time I'll use a little less sugar.
