All of us loved these muffins. When I asked for a review, my son said, "Bad news mom....these are awesome!" I opted to use the plain yogurt as that's what I had on hand. I made a few alterations after reading reviews. I used 1c. whole wheat pastry flour in place of 1 c. white and they still were amazingly light. I also added a teaspoon of vanilla cause, well, I put vanilla in everything. And I did half butter, half oil. They are perfect. I agree that you don't need all of the topping. I only made half and still had some leftover. Wonderful!
