Eating out, again...

Jun. 20, 2011 2:48 pm
So last night we ate out with Friends, and let me tell you, THAT was an eye opening experience.  I have discovered a restaurant in our neighborhood has smaller portions!  No! I'm no kidding!!!  The fries were smaller portions, the burgers were smaller, the DRINKS were smaller, everything was!  This place also has Cotton Candy that they place on each table, which is kinda fun.  We were able to walk there and back, and take the kids with us.  They have a wonderful patio with lots of seating, salads, soups, wraps, burgers, and did I mention salads?  The salads were even smaller, with dressing on the side!  You didn't even have to ask for it.  I though the food was ok, not bad for a pub type atmosphere.  I had a Portabello Burger, just a huge mushroom cap with onions and blue cheese, not half bad!

Father's Day arrived, and for each Dad, I made a pie.  THAT was an error in judgement.  Apple Carmel for my Brother-in-law, Lemon Meringue for my Father-in-law, and Banana Cream for my Husband.  Needless to say, a lot of WW points were used yesterday and I have a lot to make up for this week with walking and fruit.

So a question comes to mind, what was YOUR favorite gift you gave a Dad on Father's day?
