Excellent! My first try at Biscotti and my family is eating it so fast I will have to double the recipe in the future.

Orange Cream Fruit Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2007
Everyone really liked this. I found it okay, but I prefer a fresh fruit salad w/ no sauce or cream. But since everyone else really liked it I gave it four stars.

Herb Rubbed Sirloin Tip Roast

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2007
Everyone liked this except my son, who doesn't like pepper. Everyone else said to just cut back on the pepper next time. Gravy was a little strong! I roasted mine uncovered in the oven 200degrees, for 5 hours. It was about 5 lbs.

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2007
This is pretty good for a white bread. I'll probably make it again sometime. I make half the dough into a loaf of bread and made the other half into Monkey Bread.

Amish Potato Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2007
I've been horrible at making potato salad and decided to try this recipe as we used to live in Lancaster, PA and liked their Amish Potato Salad. This recipe was close to what we were used to there and I'm sure I will make it again. My husband really liked it.

Light Oat Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2007
This bread is fantastic! We usually buy Aldy's Oat Bread and this texture is just like it - very soft and not coarse and heavy like some homemade breads. The only things I altered were adding an extra tablespoon of brown sugar and I used olive oil instead of the butter. Thanks for the great recipe!

This was okay, but I wouldn't want much of it. Nothing special.

Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2007
This was fantastic! Everybody just loved it and I've been asked for the recipe. The only thing I changed is I put the whole vanilla wafers on the bottom and crushed wafers on top, as others recommended.

Chicken Cashew Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2007
We loved this recipe. I didn't have distilled white vinegar to played a chance and used apple cider vinegar. I omited celery & bell pepper, also, and instead added halved grapes. It was great and I'll definitely make it again!

This was okay, but I was a little disappointed. I love fruit, but this just seemed to be missing something.

Italian Zucchini Saute

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2007
This was fantastic! I made it as described, using vidalia onions and adding freshly crushed garlic from 2 cloves. I served it over linguine and it was a hit - even my 12 yr son loved it! I've made it with chunks of Italian Turkey Sausage and served over rice, also.

The Old Boy's Strawberry Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2006
This was the best strawberry pie I've ever had! I didn't know if I'd like a baked strawberry pie, as I'd only had the fresh, unbaked kind before but this was fantastic! As soon as I sampled my first slice I was already planning to bake another!!! Incidentally, I prefer it chilled and not eaten warm, as I believe you taste the flavors better.

Peanut Butter Bars I

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2005
I wasn't terribly impressed with this, although my son liked them. Luckily, I only halved the recipe because I wouldn't want to eat much of it. I love PB Cups, but these didn't taste much like them in my opinion.
