Veggie Lasagna

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2008
better than I thought it would be! I chopped the carrots and broc. in the blender while still frozen because my DH hates big pieces of broc. Subbed one can of broc and cheese soup for one of the mushroom soups as another reviewer suggested. yummy! I also used the no boil noodles like another reviewer suggested and that cut down on the prep time. (Just make sure you cover those noodles with sauce or they come out a little crunchy on the corners).

Made this for thanksgiving and it was the favored dish at the table. Will make this a signature dish at our holiday table. Our thanks to the person who created it!

Easy Vegetarian Stroganoff

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2008
I'm a new vegetarian so getting used to the texture and smell of soy protien has been difficult, which is not the fault of the recipe. So, I would say if you like meat substitute, this recipe is pretty good.

Thai Curry Tofu

this was really good, but I like the falovs to be a bit stronger. I'll add more spice next time. That said, my hubby who likes things milder thought it was awesome.

Buffalo Blue Cheese Chicken Burgers

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2008
this was good, but not what we expected, the texture for us was more like a meatloaf. Nexttime I'll scrap the buns and just serve it as a ML. We liked the flavor though.

I used a local beer from here in Chicago (312). It tasted good and was moist, but next time I'll use a stronger flavored beer.

Chicken Wellington Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2008
yummy! I took other reviewers advice and shredded the chicken and warmed that together with the other ingredients, then filled the pockets. I used regular puff pastry dough, b/c that's all I could find at Whole foods, and it was just as easy. I did add salt. I will make this again.

Fettuccini Carbonara

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2008
Pretty good for my first try at it. It was a little heavy, so I may try half and half next time. Also, I need tyo find a way to keep it hot. My hubby sugested heating up the actual plate to help keep the pasta warm, becasue It is not nearly as tasty when it cools down.
