Mom's Brussels Sprouts

Yummy!! Thanks for the advice on how to use this recipe using fresh brussels spouts. I like this recipe alot, added a pinch of red pepper.

Garlic Broccoli

This was SOOO yummy before it even marinated. I blanched as recommended and used balsamic vinegar, as that was what we had. I so so glad to have this delicious healthy recipe in my box. Thanks!!

Extreme Chocolate Cake

This cake was amazing. I have been looking foa a chocolate cake recipe to Keep and this one is it. A few years ago I learned the coffee instead of water trick and I use that every time I make a chocolate cake. I do agree with other reviewers and I made a lot less icing. Cutting the layers creates an amazing taste. I was scared to to it, but it tasted GREAT!!

Seven Layer Taco Dip

This was a great recipe, I really liked the use of sour cream and cream cheese. I omited the lettuce and sprinked the sour cream mix with a little smoked paprika DELISH!!! I am making is again for the next get together :)

Simply Steamed Asparagus

This seems so easy, like I should know how to do this with out the recipe, but I always pan fried my asparagus. Thanks for the reminder that simple (and healthier) can be very tasty. Very Tasty.

Robey's Blue Crab Deviled Eggs

If you like crab, and you like deviled egges you will love this recipe. I made this for cook-out and now I have to have these when ever there is an event. Great food. (Had to double the recipe so that some would make it to the party)

Spinach and Mushroom Enchiladas

The Enchiladas where terrific. They took a little bit of work but most good food does. I doubled the recipe and was able to do the cooking and filling in about an hour and a half. While the work was nice and messy the crowd loved the recipe. I even added imitation 'ground beef'. It was Great. If I keep getting compliments this great on my cooking I'm gonna open a restraunt:)

Tofu Turkey I

This dish is terrific. This is the 3rd (or 4th) year that I have made this dish for my family. There are a few things that I have learned that have helped me out. 1) For time I use a prepared stuffing. Since this is usually salty, I try to minimize excess salt in other places. 2)I use a pizza pan, it looks like a big mound, but since I am usually cooking for 8-10 the shape doesn not matter. You have to take it easy on the marinade, one time it was a little to salty, taste first. My family loves this dish. My Grandmother MADE me bring her a piece and she had two "real" turkeys at her house.
