Spring Roll Wrappers

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2006
These are exactly what I've been looking for. They are similar to the store-bought kinds. I deep-fried my eggrolls and they turned out crisp and yummy. I will no longer waste my money on store-bought now that I've found these. Thank you very much!

Blueberry Cream Cheese Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2006
These tasted great which is why I give it five stars, but still did not turn out quite like I expected. There was a lot of filling left over and they did not rise very high, but still tasty so thank you for sharing.

Hot Buttered Rum Batter

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2006
I made half a batch since I didn't have a full pound of butter on hand. It is gooey but to me that's good. This batter makes a very yummy drink. I used to not really like hot buttered rum but now I love it! This one is a keeper, thank you!

French Baguettes

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2006
I wanted to try this recipe since it was a much faster way of making baguettes w/o using some type of starter, I admit I was skeptical, but they turned out great for making subs. One change I made was I added about 4 tsps(read the pkg directions)of vital wheat gluten to the dough when adding the dry ingriedients. Then I proceed with the recipe as usual. It improves the rise and texture of the finished loaf.

Jamaican Patties

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2006
I used Kitchen Bouquet Browning and seasoning mix instead of the Maggi liquid seasoning since I didn't have it on hand. I think that does make a difference in flavor. I ate one straight out of the oven! Both of the seasonings should be in the spice isle of the store. Thank you for sharing!

Ultimate Irresistible Granola

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2006
This is the best granola I've ever had! I left out the coconut because my husband doesn't like it and I added various nuts and seeds like flax seeds, pinenuts, and I added some kosher salt and a tsp of vanilla like some reviewers suggested. You can tweak the recipe a bit to use what you have on hand and it still tastes good. I've made some to give away and some to keep for myself to munch on. Thank you for an excellent recipe!

Swedish Meatballs

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2006
This is a tasty recipe for swedish meatballs. I did not use the butter like another reviewer because the beef I used was not the leanest. I also used a sauce mix that I got from a swedish food store. next time I will try these and make the sauce along with it. Thank you.

Iced Coffee

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2007
This really does taste like something you would find at an expensive coffee house. I used fat free sweetened condensed milk and fat free half and half, I also added about a tablespoon of Kaluha to my glass. since my blender is a quitter when it comes to crushing ice, I put the ice in a plastic bag and hit it with a mallet to break it up a bit, then I put the ice in the blender to finish the job. Thank you for sharing this recipe and saving us all some money!

Special K Cookies

I added raw organic pumpkin seeds and low fat peanut butter (better n' peanut butter) to mine. I then dipped them half way into melted choclate and stuck them in the fridge to harden. My husband hates no bakes & loved these. Thanks!

Fettuccini Carbonara

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2007
I had fresh fettuccini pasta and I also added peas and tomatoes just so I could get some veggies into my diet. I used Fat free half and half and tossed in some cut up salami. I've made this w/o the changes too and it is still good. Thank you for sharing!
