Quick and Easy Sauteed Spinach

Quite good and very simple. Thanks for the recipe. I found I had to saute the spinach for less than the recommended time as I prefer it to be more lighly sauteed than mushy. Ingredient combo, however, was perfect! Again, simple and delicious. Thanks!

Orzo with Parmesan and Basil

I'd recommend shredded parmesan over grated as the grated cheese made this incredibly dry. The taste was good, but the dryness drew opinions from everyone who enjoyed it. More cheese... to help make this a creamy dish would have made it better.

Kalamata Olive, Tomato, and Cheese Melt

I doubled this recipe to make for a large group. It was fine, but nothing special. Feta is not a melting cheese and cheddar melts greasy. More kalamata olives and cheese would have made this more tasty and more of a true "melt". Otherwise, it was just a standard pasta dish with tomatoes.

Chicken and Spinach Alfredo Lasagna

Quite good and easy to make. Eat it all up on the first day though -- much better fresh than as left-overs (which I thought oddly enough tasted like tuna casserole). Guests loved it.

Slow Cooker Taco Soup

Chocolate Cheesecake II

Holy Chocolate Heaven, Batman! This recipe was amazing. A co-worker brought it to the office yesterday for a birthday celebration and had I not decided to leave for the day, I would still be sitting at the counter slowly finishing that cheesecake off! It was creamy on the inside with so many other great textures with the crust and solid chocolate topping. We also used freshly whipped cream as a complement with fresh strawberries as a garnish. SIMPLY INCREDIBLE.

Deep Dark Chocolate Cake

Two words: WOW! This cake was a snap to make; I put all of the ingredients in my stand-up mixer and let it go. It was thin, as the recipe states, but baked up perfectly dense and rich and wonderful! I increased the amount of frosting by an additional 50% to be sure I had enough for the sides, too. A REAL winner of a recipe -- 100% delicious!

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies IV

I made these for a friend's birthday -- a special request. They were a huge hit! I was surprised that there seemed to be so little batter compared to the amount of nuts/chocolate, but it made sense after they were baked to seven stages of delicious! I didn't change a thing in the recipe -- good stuff!

Jailhouse Rocks

I made these cookies for my 2003 Oscar party as an ode to 'Chicago' -- the Best Picture Winner. They turned out to be a little flat, but they were still big winners! I think I may have over-beat them as I used a stand-up mixer. Next time, I'll beat by hand. In addition, I used M&Ms mini-candies instead of the regular-sized ones. The cookies looked like they were made with Fruity Pebbles cereal; they were colorful and dee-lish!

Killer Cheesecake

I took this recipe to my 2003 Oscar party as an ode to 'Chicago' -- the Best Picture winner. Everyone loved it; people asked for the recipe all around! I used my stand-up mixer for each step and it hardly took the 30 minutes indicated here. I let the cheesecake cool for one hour, then put it in the refrigerator to cool for an additional 15 minutes to speed up the process and make the total time even faster. A delicious, easy, fool-proof recipe!

Reese's® Peanut Butter and Milk Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie

The taste of this recipe was OUTSTANDING. I'm a big chocolate & peanut butter fan and needed a quick dessert for a dinner at a friend's house. I used the Hershey's chocolate Ready Crust crust, blended the ingredients and popped the pie into the oven. I baked for 55 minutes at 350, but the middle was incredibly doughy still. Next time, I'll bake for longer at a slightly lower temperature to try to cook the middle through. We enjoyed this with vanilla bean ice cream -- and got raves for the taste. It's a rich recipe -- the doughiness could have attributed this as well. I'd recommend it -- I bet it'd be a kid favorite (the two-year old at our party slowly ate his slice -- every last crumb!)

Green Apple Martini

This was a good martini recipe. I also like using Green Apple Schnapps with Butterscotch Schnapps for a Caramel Apple Martini. I garnish with a sliver of green apple, and sometimes even dip it into melted caramel to enhance the presentation -- YUM!

Hershey's ® Chocolate Mousse

I made this as a post-Thanksgiving dinner dessert this year. Given past reviews, I doubled the recipe, but it's so rich that the servings actually need to be smaller. However, we all loved it! A strawberry or raspberry puree on top would be a delicious garnish -- but this mousse is a 10 all by itself as it is!

Mixed Greens with Pear and Pecan Salad

I thought the original recipe looked quite bland, but the ingredients inspired me. I used the mixed greens, pears, grapes and blue cheese, but dressed it in balsamic vinaigrette. It was wonderful! The tastes were incredibly balanced.

Cranberry, Sausage and Apple Stuffing

Easy to make. I made this along with the Rosemary turkey and the table raved! It made for an interesting stuffing, as opposed to those more plain. I'm not a dried fruit fan, but this recipe didn't make me turn my nose up; I loved it! I particularly enjoyed the sausage as well -- great flavor!

Chewy Peanut Butter Brownies

Good brownies. I doubled the recipe and baked these in a 9x13x2 pan. I reduced the temperature to 325F and baked for an extra 10-15 minutes. They were thick and moist, but the frosting would have been a good addition. I threw in mini-chocolate chips, too. Great recipe altogether.

Zucchini Cookies

I know... that was my first thought, too: "Zucchini Cookies? You have got to be kidding me!" However, a cookie is a cookie so I gave these a go. Hello delicious! They were light, soft, chewy, flavorful, and gone! I left out the raisins (I'd rather be poked in the left eye with a shart stick than have to eat a raisin). These were awesome. Give them a try! Really!

Classic Spanish Sangria

I made this recipe for a tapas themed party with friends from college. I thought this was a killer sangria and enjoyed it thoroughly. My friends were overwhelmed by the rum -- fortunately, you can add rum to taste for your guests. Buy smaller oranges and other fruits to fit in the pitcher. This is a great recipe! I'll make it again for sure; so easy!
