American Girl's Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2009
I use frozen peaches and all milk instead of milk/fruit juice in the batter, Which should not make that much difference in the dexture and flavor of the cobbler crust. This recipe has never failed me.

Brazilian Collards

These greens are sooooo good! I can't believe that there are only 5 reviews for this dish. If I could I would give this ten stars. Definetly a keeper in my book.

Easy Coq Au Vin

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2006
Coq Au Vin is a very good recipe. It does surprise me though that several of the reviewers were either put off or least surprised by the purple color that the wine gave the chicken. When using red wine,What other color were you expecting?

Mashed Potato, Rutabaga, And Parsnip Casserole With Caramelized Onions

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2006
This is a very good mash! I made this one winter night and my husband and I were both impressed by the balance of flavors.I didn't find the amount of peeling/prep to be alot of work like some of the reviewers said. And it was just as good warmed over the next day.I'll have to catch these root vegetables on sale and store them to make this casserole.Definetly a keeper.

Monster Cookies II

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2006
I have used this recipe doubled! believe it or not.And it is very good. The note I have for this says that it is called Monster Cookies because it makes a monsterous batch. So it has to be mixed in a roasting pan.I made this dough up one year at christmas time and kept it in the freezer to take out as much as I needed for cookie exchanges, potlucks, and christmas parties etc.So I wouldn't have to keep making up cookie recipes and it worked like a charm for that purpose. And the texture and appearance of these cookies baked looks like a New England Jumble cookie. All in all very good cookie.

Caramel Filled Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2006
These are some WICKED COOKIES.I have also made this recipe without the cocoa or nuts and used miniture snickers for the center.Surprisingly the mini snickers held their shape inspite of baking. And the rich candy filled center was awesome.
