OH MY GOD this soup is amazing. I have never made a cream soup before, so I was a bit nervous with the margarine, flour and milk portion at the end....but I had absolutely no issues, this was really easy! It did take the milk mixture about 10 minutes to thicken up not the 4-5 mins it suggested. I used julienned carrots from the grocery store and chopped some celery stalks with the cubed potatoes. I also used chicken broth instead of the water to boil the veggies in, and skipped the bouillon granules. Added some salt and pepper and celery salt. And I didn't have any ham so I skipped the meat. Sooooo good!!!!! Thanks for the awesome recipe!!
