Snickerdoodle Cake I

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2011
This is very good if you like Snickerdoodles! I made it as cupcakes for my son's school. I did add 1 tsp of cinnamon to the batter, but everything else I kept the same. I swirled buttercream frosting on top with a sprinkle of cinnamon and sugar. As the recipe states, I sprinkled the c&s on top of each cake right before baking, so due to the sugar on the sides, the cupcake wrappers did stick a bit, and the outer texture was slightly crisp, but fresh from the oven tonight they taste great. I will definitely make again.

My whole family loved this meatloaf. I also used the ketchup, honey, wor. + A1 glaze on top. Very yummy!

Corn Dog Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2009
Followed the recipe, except I halved it. I used my mini muffin tin, Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix, and Cheese hot dogs in 1/8 slices. This was pretty good! Perfect mini corn dogs!

Barbie Doll Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2009
I must have used the wrong bowl because even with the round cake on the bottom layer, my barbie was still too tall. And I will definitely use more of a decorator's frosting next time. I tried to make the dress shiny by using sort of a meringue-egg whites frosting but it was too sticky. My niece (and sister) absolutely loved it though.

Slow Cooker Pork Chops II

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2009
This was a bit oily and "too herby" for my taste. It was very very tender, pulled right off the bone. Next time I think I'll experiment with the spices a bit to get the taste I like.

Grilled Zucchini II

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2009
This was good. A nice, light change from frying it. Although, my son said it was "too spicy". I take it he doesn't care for italian dressing! Might try grilling it on a smaller grill tray next time. I lost a lot of the smaller slices in the grill!

Incredible Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2009
My family liked this. I used frozen boneless, skinless ckn breast and browned them in a skillet on the stove first, sprinkling with the garlic salt occasionally. Then put them in a casserole dish coated with melted butter and sprinkled the brown sugar over each piece, covered with foil and baked for 45 minutes. Very good.

Cucumber Sandwiches III

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2009
These are good. I used regular bread with the crusts cut off and sliced into four pieces, spreading the dip on the bread and placing a cucumber slice on top. I also added the dill to the dip. They are addicting!

Easy Peanut Butter Cookies by EAGLE BRAND®

I'll have to try these again, I guess. They weren't really anything special, and I love peanut butter cookies. Maybe I missed something...

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2008
These are soooo good! I made them without a bread machine, as someone else suggested, and they were great! The dough didn't raise as much as I thought it should but it was probably my fault anyhow! All of my co-workers gobbled these up! Very good!

Mom's Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2008
I tried to expand the recipe since I had 6 to feed, using 24oz macaroni, 2 cans cheese, and additional milk. This resulted in two large casserole dishes of macaroni and we didn't even touch the second one! And it wasn't as creamy as I'd liked. So I would stick to the recipe and it would serve 6 just fine.

Very yummy! Exactly what I had in mind. This was gone the same night I made it, nothing left but an empty pan!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

This cake is soooo good! I used the devil's food with chocolate pudding and peanut butter chips and everyone loved it. Even my picky brother-in-law ate it and went back for seconds the next day! Thanks

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2008
I thought this was very tasteful! My son loved it and he hates "chewy" meat! I even used frozen pork chops without thawing and they were perfect. I doubled the sauce with 6 boneless chops and there was enough to pour over the top to dip in. Everyone thought it was very yummy! Thanks!

Chocolate Covered Cherry Cookies II

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2008
These cookies are soooo yummy!!! I added an extra egg like someone else had suggested and they are so chewy! They have a great chocolatey-fudgey taste. My cookies kind of spread out when they baked, instead of staying small and plump, but they still taste great. I'll be making these many more times to come! Thanks for the recipe!

Cheesy Goulash

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2008
First of all, I read the other reviews and thought it best to adjust the recipe. I did not add the potatoes or onion, and instead of the tomato sauce, I used Ragu. I thought this recipe tasted especially cheesy. I even used a whole 26oz. jar of Ragu and it still tasted really cheesy. I do not think I will be using this recipe again without changing it. It needs a little something, although, I can't exactly put my finger on what that would be.
